I think when you're interacting with neurodivergent people you're maybe triggering them a little bit. It's not that they're homophobic it's just that you're not neurosafe and they aren't able to express that in a way you can understand. So they just sort of avoid you and try not to interact with you which you're interpreting as homophobia, but it's actually just austistic people protecting themselves from sensory overload. I say this because recently I've really began to notice that as a neurodivergent person I really struggle in a LOT of pride space. Where I don't struggle is with other neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ people, who tend to be low stim themselves. Some of them actually do have fagcents btw, but they speak quietly and they're low energy so I'm comfortable around them. Just some food for thought. It might not be hate, it might just be difference.
