in the case of jk rowling its one of a few possibilities1) repressing pooner that coped by raging against trannies2) thinks she would have been transitioned as a kid (probably not based on what she says) and thinks that everyone experiences the same amount of distress at the idea of being the opposite sex, therefore there must be more sinister reasons3) she was sexually assaulted when young, and the way that trannies came out against her (and some of the death threats she received) when she was being vaguely transphobic made her feel like she was victimized in a similar way. she then decided that the trannies that were shitty to her online were actually representative of all trannies and were not just a few psychosregardless i hate her and all the harm she's done to trans people directly and indirectly. an absolute piece of shit of a human being.

Feminism has been reduced to absolutely nothing, its not a political movement, it has no organized presence, it doesn't aspire to be an organized political force. Its a venue for women to whinge about their boyfriends being a bit shit and slacking on housework and a box-ticking exercise for HR departments to conform with whammen in the workforce laws. Feminism only exists as a handful of cloistered academics and some quasi-state NGOs that give out survival hampers to women who are fleeing DV situations. The average 'feminist' doesn't engage with feminist theory, they have absolutely no idea of the intellectual landscape surrounding feminists, past or present. Their understanding of the history of feminism is: "the suffragettes got us the right to vote and then something something and then the sexual revolution". What is called feminism is simply just women whinging online, anything that annoys them is anti-feminist and feminism serves to get rid of their minor annoyances. TERFism are conservative women who are annoyed by trannies and because they are women that dont like trannies not liking trannies is feminism.
