I am going around asking trans women if they read feminist literature in an effort to make them question their validity as women, it's funny seeing them get worked up over something no cis woman has ever cared for since Eve left the garden of Eden.
>>
>>42959534
yeah fr and do it to those damn trans racialists with asking if they read their jungle book
>>
Is having read feminist literature not the norm....??
>>
>>42959583
most people don't read FUCKing anything anymore and depending on the tranny they might be malebrained and think it's just dumb
>>
>>42959583
it is not the norm (i hope)
>>
who fucking cares honestly
I already support womens rights to choose their life, careers, partners, whatever

Trans women read feminist literature as a form of escapism.
I watched literally every anime with a female MC ever made and that was BEFORE I transitioned.

If you're talking about feminist theory, I actually did, mostly just because I needed insight on the ways I was now interacting with society as a woman and didn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing.

Like I remember being quite shocked to discover that the idea of a Christian woman is not formalized at all, unlike a Christian man, which is extremely well developed. The two major feminine figures in the New Testament, The Virgin Mary, and Mary Magdalene, are barely in the gospels, and not discussed by Paul at all. And I still don't have a good answer to this question.

How to be Christian, I think I'm on top of it.
How to be a woman, that was a learning curve but I got there.
How to be a Christian woman... either nobody told me, or nobody knows.

Favourite animes for troon escapism?

I'm the Villainess so I'm taming the Final Boss,
Maria the Virgin Witch (english dub is shakespear level),
Nina the Starry Bride (seriously awesome if you've got strong opinions about YA fiction),
Madoka Magika,
Magical Girl Spec-ops: Asuka,
Girls und Panzer,
Reincarnated as a Sword (technically not female MC but close enough)
Claymore (lowkey trans coded)
Oshi no ko (first episode only)

Saga of Tanya the Evil gets an honourable mention, because technically the main character is literally trans, and the the author is CLEARLY repping her trans, but the character is just so male coded that it doesn't really count, and there's a growing list of those for me. Generally speaking, whenever you're seeing "man reborn as a woman" you're seeing an author who is probably mtf, but the characters themselves wind up being ftm. There isn't a woman reborn as a man anime, which would really express the mtf experience.

>>42959534

>>42959650
bad taste you should selfinsert as lain from lain and yona of the dawn and miyamori aoi from shirobako and nothing else
>>
Nope. And I don't read communist literature either and I am a communist. Ohhh, how invalid am I, I'll get nowhere with these beliefs that I don't waste time reading mountains of books about that amount to "don't be bastards to people".
>>
>>42959534
Lol, I'd just turn around and start asking you about Bell Hooks. Like yeah I read feminist literature and it's all pretty surface level stuff (so no deeper than the average cis woman reads into it)
>>
>>42959590
Not reading books isn’t even malebrained, it’s just retardbrained, and while more retards are male, so are more people consistently into serious literature.
>>42959583
Reading anything other than romance novels (if woman) and wiki lore articles (if male) isn’t the norm. Very few ideological crusaders are smart enough to read anything like that anyway, see >>42961051 this anon who is retarded.
>>42960004
This was a particularly appropriate choice hasbin-poster, well done. I may hate hasbin hotel but I like you.
>>
>>42959534
Iv read a few Judith butler and disliked her but i fucking hate her fangirls with a passion. How do u take a legal argument and conflate it with a social movment
>>
>>42959534
I read feminist works and they're all garbage. Except the dialectic of sex, that's pretty okay

That guy is kinda dumb. One time he thought I was chud because I pointed out that his hazbin image wasn't relevant. Like common dude I'm not a chud I just want to see relevant pictures.
>>
>>42959534
i read whipping girl and thought it was very relevant but i acknowledge that i'm not very caught up on feminism as a whole outside of the trans perspective, can i still get a pass on this? i also like some plath poems but idk if that really counts either
>>
>>42961976
Whipping girl is not feminist
>>
>>42959583
No real wome read ACOTAR and harry potter fan fiction
>>
>>42959534
Naw I read books on human supremacy and solar consciousness to escape the flesh prisons, I can’t incarnate again :(
>>
>>42959534
Yes transwomen read heady theory. And the sky is blue.
>>
>>42959534
