> go to La Poste to post mail
> only open in the morning so have to hurry
> get misgendered
> have to pay a hefty 1,50€ with no tracking
> letter might get stolen or lost
I fucking hate them so much

is the french postal system still a public service like usps or has it been privatized like royal mail?
>>
>>42963701
I don't recall if they are privatized, but you need to understand that ANYTHING gov in france is turbocucked the millisecond you are outside the immediate range of Paris, if even that.
>Public transport?
You can have two towns that are <2hrs away from each other (by car) with no train connecting them, cause they will route you over Paris, making it a 3-4 hours trip. You have better chances getting a fucking Flixbus.
>Leaving the country?
Take a train to Paris, or fly to Paris, and then fly from Paris because Paris Paris Paris.
>healthcare?
Suppose you suddenly work in France, guess where you will need to send your application for a social security number, hint: there is only one place for that in the entire country, and it will be sent back and forth via snail mail.
>renting?
you bet you can't even rent an appartment without some centralist cuck form that you have to get online that "proves" you have an income (it is literally just your work contract and ID digitally signed of)

List goes on. Everything is a centralist nightmare where is one and only one way to do it, and usually it flies in the face of whatever established standards there are.
>SEPA?
forget it. It's the European standard for wiring money, but most places won't accept it. They will demand a "RIB", which is a pdf generated by french banks with your IBAN on it, often formatted in a way that makes it easy for boomer lobotomites to read the account number (aka the old system) instead.
>qualifying documents?
It is insufficient to have an internationally recognized english version of degrees etc. Most of the time a French one is mandatory, which you will have to hire someone to make for you.
Etc etc. The French have the same prissy faggot attitude as the UK where they wanna call all the shots but be exempt from all the rules anyway. FREXIT can't come soon enough, that or Anschlusszeit.

i dont want to reduce your problems or anything but i think everything you've just described is worse in every way in england
for example the only high speed rail in the country links london to paris. meanwhile the journey from london to norwich is a shitty slow two-carriage diesal train with zero plug sockets and it takes like 7 hours

although since you mentioned french healthcare, i had my ffs done in france and i did find it funny that i had to carry over my CT scan images in a big A3 envelope myself from the CT place to the doctors office- maybe its just coz im not french and therefore not on their systems but why cant these two doctors communicate between themselves, seems kinda crazy to make the patients carry the papers themselves lmao

We have reports that your delivery via La Póste has been stalled in the Strait of Hormuz.

The main difference seems to be that the UK refuses to create worthwhile infrastructure, while France pours all its resources into a single city, treating the rest of the country as a glorified province. UK people have it rough, 100%.
