Get off the internet and see how you feel

>>42967636
you feel sad because your name field in the post form isn't empty
>>
>>42967642
I can't, I use it too often
And seeing gay videos with lots of likes makes me somewhat happy
>>42967662
Not true I still feel sad
>>
>>42967680
but you made me a bit happier
if you have empathy that should make you feel better as well :DD
>>
>>42967703
Not really
>>
>>42967747
so you're incapable of empathy anon?
>>
>>42967759
No I'm not some psychopath but it doesn't really help my main problem

I mean at a minimum consuming tons of content about people hating us probably isn’t HELPING you feel better, OP. If it helps at all I think a lot of the hate is manufactured rather than innate. I think most people probably wouldn’t really give a shit one way or another about lgbtq folks, but contemporary politics has become totally performative and framed around gender signifiers.

No there's definitely a lot of people that hate us, it's true

Sure, but I don’t think a majority of them feel that way with any strong sense of commitment or because they’ve really thought much about it. I think most people probably would think we’re kind of weird/gross/silly but would be largely indifferent to us if there weren’t active campaigns to make us scapegoats.

To be clear, I don’t think people are innately good or anything; I think they’re parochial and susceptible to conspiratorial messaging.

If they can see us that way then they just don't like us
I've seen homophobic videos with like millions of likes

I saw a video of a gay dude saying he was “gay bashed” because he told some guy he was handsome and the guy responded with “I don’t like that faggot shit”. Everyone was rightfully roasting the guy in the comments saying that was not gay bashing and that he was a drama Queen

Yikes
