Not to mention that africans have the least neanderthal dna, which suggests that their ancestors never left africa and instead got some from later migrations back in. I wish I had the level of information retention you just showed off- I wanted to make the points you did in your previous post but it would’ve taken me half an hour to piece together my sources, and then another half hour to write out a coherent argument.I love Tides of History- that season in particular is fantastic. The host Patrick Wyman does a great job bringing together the most up to date scholarly research, and then synthesizing it into a format accessible to laypeople. He does interview episodes with archeologists actually doing the fieldwork a lot of the new info is based on too.You might already be familiar with a lot of the material he covers in that season if human pre history and evolution are abiding interests of your’s, but I found it totally fascinating.
