Definitely good to not go lower, you're smart for it. I reflected on it and I think it's that the cuts move from the outside, where they look cool and pretty, to the inside. I saw them and thought, I wish this was my gf. But then the lower cuts move to the inside of the arm, the one you would show yourself exposed and vulnerable with to someone you loved. And that really messed with my previous reaction, and it feels like a permanent barrier to being close to you, some hurt that will always come in-between and never heal.I really hope for you these scars heal well and please take good care of them. For the future, try cutting towards the outside of your underarm, but really don't go much deeper than that.
