Yesterday I decided to stop bedrotting and start boymoding *properly*. But my hair's all matted!!!!!!! It looks like Lego hair!!!!!! Wtf do I do chat? Is there a way to save it?? It's too embarrassing to go to the hairdresser like this, I'll be flayed alive!!!!!

start at the ends (brush to the end each time and work the height you start the brush at up) and dont overdo it over 1 day or smth. and like idk maybe anti dandruff shampoo etc might help but tbfh unless u have shit hair genes or smth most hair product stuff is dogshit and minimalism is best

cover it in coconut oil and start untangling it. I got my hair super matted when I was bedridden with depression

OK if it's actually properly matted and you can't get the tangles out you just need to get it cut off, there is a point where it's genuinely beyond saving and if youve been bedrotting for however long you could probably use a trim anyway
