You can/should love other people. Your one sided limerance is keeping you stuck on this person. Likely to protect yourself from getting hurt again.

The truth is we are all special and unique but we aren't really that special and unique. At a certain point you have to accept that what made this person special is the narrative you created in your head and nothing specifically about this person. You can find love again, they will be different and you have to accept that.
