I've noticed a lot of mtf are convinced that they are non-passing, when in reality they just look like an ugly woman. I guess thinking of yourself as not passing yet is an easier cope than accepting you're just physically unattractive.

A lot of this is easily healed by simply purging social media and living life IRL.What's "ugly" online (where filtering and editing is normative) is usually average or even slightly above average irl.
