Please do not play crimson desert. Many people dont know this yet, but 99% of its assets are actually a.i.Well it doesn't matter anymore i guess, the onwards flow of progress is unstoppable. Its just a crying shame. This game represents the future of gaming, it is the gunshot of the track gun that signals the race towards the end. All that awaits the masses of gamers from this point on until far in the future is a mindless and endless sea of "content", soulless but plentiful will be the motto, an endless spring of nonsense to drown out all the quality of gaming. There will be no game programmers soon. Game development will be just saying words into a microphone and having your a.i model cook something up for you. There will two decades worth of gaming that we lose due to this, because it'll all be slop. But after that in theory the promts will get so good that coding really will become obsolete. You'll just say "make the grass this shade and make it do this and this and this and this. And the ai will be able to follow the instructions faithfully. But until then its 2 decades of slop that awaits. Luckily there is enough old content to enjoy but its still a crying shame.
>>43039791i think i'll play another 3000 hours of starsector
>>43039825That game looks really cool.. how does it compare to eve?
>>43039861well there's the whole single player thing and top down thing, but aside from that i prefer it moreit's kinda two games in one, you got the rts-like battles (and unlike eve there's no "you lose no matter how good your fleet is lmao" concord slop - with good piloting a frigate can solo a capital ship) and the strategic overmap/overworld where you exploreplus with mods you can massively expand it, like nexerelin basically turns it into a full 4x game, and there's like a bazillion faction mods to add new stuffand the customisation for every ship in your fleet is really granular which is nice
>>43039791this board is 18+, nobody should be playing video games
I doubt any of my computers can run it so yeah I support you
>>43039791I only pirate games, unless its a crazy one off thing that has multiplayer Im hyped for. Especially now that theres hypervisor and antidenuvo I cant see why youd pay for a game unless youre rich. I got re9 for freebies and it was fun but definitely not worth 70$As far as crimson desert goes it didnt even look good enough to torrent anyways.. I avoid unreal engine games generally.
