Could I save my hair if I started microdosing estrogen? Also, if I discovered I'm a tranny along the way, could I boymod forever or would I get mauled to death?
>>
microdosing doesn't work
normal dosing will stop balding though

Just take finasteride
>>

Short answer's very maybe. I wouldn't lean on it, but some friends had some hair regrowth. One on just E, another on T blockers.
In honesty past a certain age many women start losing hair too, so it all depends on how much you're willing to bet it's age-appropriate.

>if I discovered I'm a tranny along the way,
I feel like if you're here asking this question then you're probably not trans.

Estrogen for me wasn't something I held my nose and took in the smallest dose possible because I had to, it was something I crawled through broken glass to get access to. Not wanting to go bald doesn't make you trans.

There are other treatments for MPB, try those.

Because of menopause/perimenopause, which won't happen on hrt. They also don't get male pattern baldness

True, but it varies. One aunt started thinning at the temples at 35. It most resembled her Dad's.
>menopause, which won't happen on HRT
That ... depends. Some trans women I know had to really jump in dose after 50. The alternative was hot flashes, the works.

Idk, I'm pretty disgusted being a dude but Im not sure if I have dysphoria. I don't really feel like a woman, which is the bad part ig I feel fundementally like a man and I don't like it. But its not as bad as I heard other people describe their dsyphoria so it might just be all this pornography getting to my head mixed with some underlying misagony. Getting meds at the moment isnt too much of an issue at the moment because I have a friend who stocks them (who offered me the idea in the first place) but idk what I'd do if we split apart, Im pretty broke. Also I don't live in a place particularly nice to trans people at all and my family is worse even for the standard. So overall, I probably shouldnt do it but the temptation is there, especially with how easy it is to reach at tje moment

cishon with unmanaged hormonal issue

Well no, she tried HRT at 40. Didn't really help. Some people just have follicles that turn the fuck off. Her son's fine, her daughter's kind of fucked already.

I don't even know what this shit means and I'm trans.

It took me more than a year on HRT and girlmoding full time for 6 months or so for it to click that I am and always was actually a girl, and this was me letting me be myself. Before that was an intense desire for things like breasts and a vagina, to be seen as attractive and desirable, to be a woman even tho I wasn't one. And I was prepared to take hostages to get access to estrogen.

So I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Like if you're this far up your own arse about your gender because you're going bald, I really don't think you're trans, I think you're just getting older and aren't happy about that.

Take care of yourself, get hair implants, get botox, you don't need to be trans to looksmaxx.

NTA but nona is right.
It's a genetic thing that causes progesterone to aromatase to DHT which can cause mild male pattern baldness in women.

Or pcos, where you'd need an anti androgen on top of regular menopause hrt to stop balding effectively. Follicles don't "just turn off" with regular hormone levels, especially not in a male pattern

My Aunt's labs would seemingly disagree. And she did try dutasteride, finasteride. Sometimes you just come up snake eyes.

i am a cis male that takes estrogen. i take a full dose, i dont think youd see any benefit to microdosing unless you take AA's.
>>
>>43047313
Just take duta you idiot. It blocks dht that causes baldness
>>
>>43048531
Dut is quite a bit more potent but only somewhat more clinically effective than fin, and it also hangs out in your system for much longer so if the side effects are a problem, you're in it for a few months.

That said, the "side effects" thing is overblown, the actual % of people who get problematic side effects from the drug is quite small, something like 2%, but something like 40% of the demographic who would want to take dut also has depression and erectile dysfunction due to age and psychological issues, so needless to say they all blame the drug
