do any other theymabs have intrusive thoughts about trooning out? i have no problem w trannies but the brain worms from around here have me thinking that literally everything i do or think or like secrely means that i am transgenderpic unrelated. i'm not even a feminine nb, i just can't in earnest call myself a man because i don't really believe men or women exist
>>43052759What’s your hang up with being trans if you don’t mind me asking? I’m enby and I see myself as another kind of trans since I took hormones. Is it hang ups around passing or the social implications of transitioning?
>>43052786i'm not really interested in changing my body. in an idea world i would dress/be more androgynous (and, more importantly, be seen as a genderless being), but i lack the finances to really realize it at this point in time. also rn i'm kind of enjoying my masculine aspects, which makes me not wanna claim transness as stolen valor. worse still, it sort of seems like yet another box to put myself in when i don't wanna be in a box at all.
>>43052759i know quite a few people like you, many of which have tried hrt, and they all have had their life and mental state improved by it
>>43053845what do they say hrt has done for them? i don't want to have titties, i just want to be seen as a human being and nothing more
>>43052786"I'm enby"ok dood lol
>>43052759just be yourself unless you're someone like G~<3
>>43053917the boobs can be an issue, just don't be fat and they'll not present an issuetldr slim girls don't get boobsdon't go into the bad eating disorder territory tho have your best life nona!
>>43052759I sympathize with you but you gotta understand, inaction is not neutrality, it means getting more masculine. Your maleness will win out over your androgyny in time. HRT is the only solution to avoid this. Your body really wants to be filled with testosterone or estrogen and alter how it looks because of that, so pick the least bad option. This is the choice all genderfluids and nonbinaries must face.t. also a theymab (on estrogen)
>>43052759This is all fake history btw
>>43052759It's anachronistic to claim heliogabalus was transgender. I'll make a few comments. First, he was an apostate to the Roman religion and antagonized the elite to the point where the accounts regarding him were likely filled with lies to besmirch/delegitimize him. Second, the basis of him wanting to become a woman was more related to his religious beliefs than any purely sexual desire. The fact that modern people can't understand the esoteric past and routinely ascribe their modern ideology onto it is honestly just stupid. I don't know why you'd even want Heliogabalus of all people to be one of the few 'trans in history' when he'd literally make you all out to be sex-crazed heretics, why would you want that optic in the first place? Is it to 'prove' trans people exist prior to the 20th century? Just silly. Yes I am salty.
>>43052759you can just take estrogen if you want toit does not turn you into someone else
>>43054342yeah but it's hot to imagine such a twink>>43054228atp i'm not too worried about getting more masculine physiologically, i actually enjoy it. in fact, i wish for a world where my body does not have a gendered meaning, it just is what it is, for me to do what i want with it.
>>43054417>Second, the basis of him wanting to become a woman was more related to his religious beliefs than any purely sexual desireThere is also no primary source evidence that he claimed this at all. Cassius Dio is not a reliable source for the reign of Elagabalus.
just take bicalutamide and dutasteride, its fine. you wont get much boobs. just stay skinny.
>>43054417>the basis of him wanting to become a woman was more related to his religious beliefsWhat if I wanted to be more feminine-presenting due to my religious beliefs? Does that make me trans?
>>43054457Almost every source available is writing from a position of moral condemnation, bringing me back to my first point about the accounts being unreliable. As for Heliogabalus not directly claiming to be religious motivated, I think you'll have to defer to the fact that all the sources agree on his apostasy and deliberate attempts to supplant the Roman gods with his less traditional sun god. Theorizing that he wanted to be a woman because he always felt like a woman is anachronistic (assuming the tale isn't made up to delegitimize him). Theorizing that, alongside many other acts, he wanted to become a woman to signal his divinity and further supplant the Roman orthodoxy with his own religion at least follows the historical narrative. Genuinely just read history with an intent of understanding the past instead of trying to do this insane confirmation bias with modern ideas.>>43054536Probably not? Being trans in the first place can be arrived at by two basis. One being born from a condition (Gender Dysmorphia) and the other being born from ideology related to challenging gender roles. If you're being feminine due to your esoteric cult or whatever, I don't think you fit either criteria unless you articulate your position a little better to fit it. In Heliogabalus' case, the concept was that he believed the sex change would make him closer to the divine that he worshipped and that he'd derive authority from castrating himself.
>>43054342actually it's all real except the nonbinary part
>>43054228Yeah it's easier to adjust for an androgynous appearance if you already went through puberty and start HRT
>>43052759Nice try glowieeeeeeee
>>43052759I have no desire to troon but I'd swap genitals with my ftm bf if that became medically viable
