I had to do a recording of myself playing for piano lessons ~ age 9 and I had to introduce myself on the tape player (yes I am old) and I remember realizing how I sounded and it wasn't like a conscious awareness of being effeminately gay it was subconscious for sooooo long because everyone else around me clearly did not want me to be that way, but I knew it and was aware of it on some level.

I'm a German native speaker and while there is something akin to the English fagcent in a very small percentage of gays, most of them DO have a somewhat different voice.
Like, some will be very soft spoken, others have a 'cheeky' voice, then there are guys who have an extremely clear and stilted style of speaking etc.
I was told I sound like a cartoon character for example.
Overall it's definitely different from straight guys, but more variety than with the Anglo / Romance style of fagcent that is more adjacent to stereotypical French fluidity and 'softness' with e.g. less harsh word endings

Honestly not really, the '-li' suffix is a typical diminutive in southern ('high') German dialects these days so I'm guessing it stems from there.
There were a few schisms that happened since then and since I'm from northern ('low') Germany our old dialects sound very different so I think I'm just not able to parse it sufficiently.
