These 9 / 10 cases are usualy utter bullshit cases, I mean that honestly too. For example we had one freelance prostitute who would make false rape charges to extort additional money out of her johns, she actualy ammounted to 18% of that jurisdictions reported rape cases one year. The unfortunate and frustrating thing about that 1 / 10 legit case is its reported too late, the victim dosent want to prosecute, or refuses a rape kit and the case ends up being super hard to get a conviction on due to the lack of evidence. It's very frustrating not being able to get them justice. It's why sex crime detectives are so batty they spend 90% their effort on total bullshit and then the real cases they get the case is usualy doomed.I say all this to point out that each reported rape counts in this statistic as an actual rape. It dosent account for if it's a legit case or not. If you actually broke these cases open one by one and looked at them you'd be shocked how BS some of these claims are.
