Southern troonies, how's life in the south for you?
>>43062841I actually quite like it. I live in an urban blue island but the state is red and, frankly, this fact filters all the insane honfident types from showing up in public. Any LGBT meetup in such an environment is basically guaranteed to be passoids and safehons only, because any really obnoxious types are ripped apart or forced to stay home. If you can keep hold of the tiger's tail it's an excellent method of only meeting normal fellow transes, or at least normal passing ones. Like, it's a shame about the restrictive legislation and discrimination but this really is a huge plus. Also my state is informed consent so at least for me trooning was easy since I'm not underage.

how to meet transgirls in the south-anon from the south (NC)
>>43062841Its dope ngl. The country is beautiful and the people are nice and homey. Its highkey way less racist and aggressive then the northern/midwest states iv been in. I walk down the street and mostly get mammed even though i dont pass well. People hold the door open. I get stared at by old ladies sometimes and iv made men flustered before becouse they didnt expect to see a trans but its usually not out right malice. I live in a small town though.
>>43062885Austin could also be described as a blue island in a red state, but it's overrun with fetishistic hons.
Well I don't live in Texas anymore, but I did grow up there. Am I allowed to post in this thread?
>>43062841Bad, boring, nothing ever changes. I'm back in town after spending 7+ years in LA after being stuck in a homeless shelter for the last 2&1/2 years. Still trying to adjust in the meantime to my dying sub-5000 pop hometown while looking for work in this mostly outsourced Mayberry boomerland. Thinking of finally taking classes at trade tech in LA to have a legitimate ticket back to the city, plus student housing and better healthcare options.
>>43062891Greensboro has some semblance of a queer community, a few events downtown now and then but it's been awhile since I've been down there
>>43062841I live in a mostly red but with some blue urban areas. The university I go to is somewhat/mostly blue but where I'm living is trad Hispanic . Luckily I'm passing so I mostly just get positive attention and stares for being the only tall white blonde woman in the area. I've never been called a slur or misgendered or hate crimed really but my gf has. Socially it's just kinda boring. It's hard to find interesting people, even on my college campus. All the trans peeps are either trans guys not on T, stealth mtf's, or clocky ass annoying early transition MTF individuals. I honestly prefer the trans men, they're uselly pretty nice peeps with an interesting flavor of tism but most of my friends are just bi cis women. I honestly can't wait to move the hell away from here but I honestly will miss it in some ways. The food up north just ain't even worth eating 90% of the time.
>>43062841get me out of here
>>43062841Honestly it's pretty great. The vast majority of people are polite and respectful. I work as a woman, most people in day to day interactions address me as a woman. I don't really go to or do anything LGBT specific, so I'm not sure how the night life actually is anymore. Regular dinner showes, concerts, meet and greets etc go pretty smoothly for me. Low tax rates pretty nice bonus.
>>43062975I think it might be too big/isolated, there needs to be a degree of vulnerability while still providing shelter.
