Small hairs yes, big coarse hairs no. Well, it MIGHT, but on a timescale where you'd probably be a lot happier getting it removed manually. Also, do laser but dont expect it to solve everything. For best results, you want laser and then electrolysis to get rid of the stubborn hairs, or just electrolysis if you're brave. It will hurt like a motherfucker so ask your doc for a heavy duty painkiller like 800 mg ibuprofen (its what I got).

Find out which places are LGBT friendly and just do it there. My electrolysis practitioner has worked with dozens of transes and doesn't give a fuck. That said, its usually the electrolysis ones that are chill, laser is more geared towards cis femoids.

like you tell them to laser your chest with some boobs on it? they see a surface of skin and hairs and blast it.
if you're early on in transition, they might think for a brief second "this young man have some moobs", if you're progressed a little they might think "this ftm still have obvious boobs", and if you're a passoid they probably think "yes my sister in law had pcos too, poor gal"
or most likely they don't think about it at all and just do what they're trained to do.
