Unironic sage advice from:
>>43103901
>>43103928
>>43103963

The sun is a deadly laser. Drugs draw away regenerative resources from your body. Water keeps skin hydrated and healthy. I’d also include a healthy diet that incorporates vegetables, reduces dairy and meat consumptions to a minimum, and is full of leafy greens. Aside from that, cleaning your body every few days a minimum (depending on your body odor), and applying lotion daily will take you far.

Additional care may be needed for sensitive or special case skincare.
>>
moisturize after shaving or showering and get an exfoliating body wash
>>
>>43103963
>>43103963

I stopped everything bad, i stay away from drugs, alcohol, tobacco and men
>>
>>43103969
I got this, its very light

I read its good if you are indoors but suffers when out in direct light.

I use La Roche Posay daily, its heavy duty stuff
>>
>>43103994
meat consumption is extremely important for the skin as meat is full of the most bioavailable b vitimins especially beef, eggs, fish, and some pork. Just avoid anything highly processed
>>
I use azelaic acid, spf50+ suncreen, and moisturizer in my mornings. At night I only use Tazarotene and moisturizer, this is enough to give me clear skin.
>>
>>43104021
>azelaic acid
>Tazarotene

I havent heard of these before, what do they do?
>>
get 8 hours of sleep every night
>>
>>43104018
Excess meat consumption is unnecessary and contributes to damaging the planet. You’d need only the bare amount for said vitamins that are typical absent in a vegan diet. Supplements also exist. Avoiding processed foods is also a wise approach for healthy skin.
>>
>>43104018
Im eating gammon right now
>>
>>43104033
>get 8 hours of sleep every night

Screams in ptsd. Sleep is my favourite thing, its better than anything else
>>
>>43104041
Nta but my ffs surgeon said i need to eat protein everyday
>>
dont get stressed
>>
>>43104010
I'll look into this, thanks for the recommendation. Any idea if its safe for celiacs?
>>
>>43104029

azalaic acid kills acne and stops redness, although its a very slow process. It's really good paired with retinoids. Tazarotene is one of such retinoids, it's essentially an upgraded version of tretinoin, one that clears your skin even faster. It's very damaging to the skin though, that's why my routine is very minimal. It's marketed as one of the strongest anti-acne/anti-aging retinoids in the market.
>>
>>43104041
>Excess meat consumption is unnecessary and contributes to damaging the planet
that's just propaganda. Farm raised animals are perfectly fine. Meanwhile our entire infrastructure is built off of giant polluting vehicles but somehow cow farts are a problem? Also you only want to eat a bunch of meat if you're a gymmaxxer. I'm just telling you to eat an egg or two a day with some fish here and there. Fish is especially good for the skin given it's omega 3s. Also meat is how we replenish stem cells in our body to aid in the regeneration of cells.
>>
>>43104042
yummy
>>
>>43104073
I dont know, i dont have celiacs disease but i am immunocompromised, and i have extremely sensitive skin, i burn inside the house even with sunscreen, i have to use blackout curtains and tape the sides or i just burn.

La roche posay is my most cherised product, i bought 20 of them but its a waste of money since i will not get to use them
>>
i never washed my lower eyelid is why i have no wrinkles on them in my 30s. but clock start ticking once i need makeup to cover my dark circle and i need to rub my lower eyelid everyrime i wear makeup.
>>
>>43104041
In Cyberpunk 2077 they dont eat meat and the world is still a polluted shithole
>>
>>43104079
Thank you anon.

Im currently on 0.1% retinol and its aggressive, im peeling daily, which is what i want, but im already very UV sensitive.

I will consider Tazarotene once i have finished play testing tretinoin, thank you
>>
>>43104096
>Cyberpunk 2077

Currently playing this and it's my new fav game.

It may be even better than New Vegas or Skyrim. Great lore and environment. This is the game that makes me think the new generation of consoles is seperating itself from the previous ones
>>
>>43104087
That's perfect! I've also got very sensitive skin in addition to celiacs so I will for sure check this out! Thank you so much!!!
>>
>>43103889
Keep yourself hydrated (it HAS to be water) and apply good sunscreen every 3 hours
>>
>>43104125
I went to a skin specialist in Spain, because why not. She swore it was the best chemical composition of any product on the shelf.

I hope you battle and win against those nasty UV rays!
>>
>>43103889
literally just do the bare minimum and you are doing fine
>sunblock
>cleanse
>moisturize
>>
>>43104102

Just be wary that taz is more agressive than tret, if you do try it start at 0.05.
>>
>>43104066
Then consume protein: basedbeans, lentils, tofu, nuts, seeds, quinoa, oats. Do not limit yourself to the propaganda of meat corporations.

>>43104080
>Years of growing plant matter to feed said live stock is numerically better than just consuming the plants we would’ve grown for them to begin with
But you have a point in regards to private transportation and the disease that is car ownership.
>Meat replenishes stem cells
I have not ever heard of this previously. Might you have a citation for more information?

>>43104096
>Uncultured jiaan unaware of Divine eye Cybermancy
You must escape your cycles of guilt.
>>
>>43104146
They changed the formula for my exfoliatior. It used to remove all dead, flaky skin, now it hardly has any rough beads in and leaves a horrible film
>>
>>43104182
I still have veggies, but meat as well.

I do admit, i cant think about the conditions the animals are kept in. The problem isnt that we eat meat, its how the animals are treated and housed, its awful.

Trump passed new laws stating that animal welfare must be bad
>>
>>43104182
>Divine eye Cybermancy

Nta, I havent played Cybermancy and i will one day, but imagine talking shit about Cyberpunk 2077, its a 10/10 game. And probably the future of America.

In some ways its better than now
>>
>>43104237
The problem is that people are gluttonous and unwilling to choose alternatives that exist without the unnecessary slaughter of animals. Beyond meat only improves everyday in flavor and pricing.

>>43104252
>Lightly roasting over youngfags not aware of based eYe is somehow equatable to shitting on their flavor of cyberpunk game.
You fabricate your own anger. And for what it’s worth, Cyberpunk 2077 -is- a great game that has bounced back from the oblivion, same with No Man’s Sky.

>Future of America
It’ll be more dystopian and less exciting with the technology unfortunately.
>>
>>43104304
>It’ll be more dystopian

Depressing but probably true, if the Patchwork comes to fruition
>>
>>43104304
Not anger, incredulity lol
>>
>>43104155
Thanks anon, I'll be careful. I'll try it once i finish 0.1% tret, and I'll report back!
>>
>>43104087
I use that brand too, it's great
>>
>>43103889
Chemically exfoliate face
Physically exfoliate body
Moisturizer (particularly with urea is good)
>>
>>43104120
I played it at launch and first hated it but i've come back to it recently and have it heavily modded. best game in the last couple years and now it's becoming one of my favorites
>>
i work outside and it fucked my skin lowk
>>
>>43105230
Need to see a specialist and get deep dermis help
>>
>>43105215
I got the 2.13 update, they really smashed it.

70 hours in now, and still have the DLC to go. Im on xbox, whats PC like?
>>
>>43104304
>No Man’s Sky

Is it worth playing now?
>>
>>43103889
if you can, sleep on your back. sleeping on your side tends to squish the face and create wrinkles during sleep
>>
>>43103889
Most skincare products have zero evidence of working except Acutane if your skin’s fucked up go to a dermatologists and get Acutane otherwise just some body wash sunscreen & maybe lotion if you live somewhere really dry
>>
>>43105265
I have to sleep on my back because i had two implants in my nose, and i can feel it moving if i sleep on my side
>>
>>43105890
dayum
>>
>>43105255
>Is it worth playing now
I find it thus so. Though I am also the type of degenerate who enjoys modded Starbound, so heed my commentary with caution.
>>
>>43103889
topical estradiol and cerave
>>
>>43104018
all the methionine and the mTOR activation tho...
>>
>>43106708
>topical estradiol

For the face?
>>
>>43107151
The meme Dr. Powers reccomends it
>>
>>43107709
I actually did that for a while, but the alcohol dried out my skin
>>
ok I’m just going to dump everything I know, collected stuff from friends and my sister and mostly my cousin as she skinmaxxes too.

Avoid dairy
Limit red meat
Eat fish especially salmon
Green tea
Don’t eat shitty processed food
Avoid fast food
Limit sugar and carbs

Take collagen powder
Take Omega 3 especially if you don’t eat enough fish
Take vitamin D
Biotin is overrated and will cause break outs if you take too much
Take hylaronic acid supplements

Take your HRT
Take Pio it really changes the skin even at low doses
Use tret/taz just any prescription retinoid

Use vitamin c serum
Use a peptide serum
Get a good moisturiser that doubles as a barrier repair

Start red light mask therapy

Use sunscreen when you are exposed every 2 hours, sunscreen < makeup if you are going to be out longer then 2 hours, I can’t stress this enough.
Stay in the shade when you are out
Wear a hat if you can and sun glasses
If you don’t care about sticking out, UV umbrella too

Start microneedling
Start RF microneedling under the neck

Avoid stress
Exercise
Drink plenty of water

Haven’t tried yet:
Look at GHK-cu
Look at KLOW or GLOW
>>
>>43108780
Based summarising anon
>>
>>43108780
What does pio do to the skin? I've never heard this
>>
>>43108780
Oh yeah forgot a few

Eat carrots
Eat leafy greens
>>
>>43108780
Makeup is NOT sun protection even if it has a spf rating you don't use enough to be effective and has similarly degraded performance over time, you still should re -apply sunscreen over makeup.
>>
>>43108780
>Avoid dairy
>Limit red meat
sorry but i can't. i look extremely young and healthy and these are the 2 foods i eat the most of
>>
>>43108800
It really softens the skin as you will get more subq fat that usual even if you don’t gain weight.
>>
>>43108831
Supplement glycine and proline and there won't be any benefit to meat.
>>
>>43108818
>Eat leafy greens

I try to eat half a kilo of spinach a week
>>
>>43108839
ok i'll look it up, why not dairy though?
>>
>>43108824
No I’m saying that it isn’t and if you are out longer the two hours to forgo it and just reapply sunscreen, I’ve never had sunscreen reapply nicely over makeup Nona so I just skip makeup if I’m getting uv exposure past 2hrs
>>
>>43108844
Dairy is harder to say its bad for skin if it doesn't personally give you problems.
>>
>>43108873
ok that makes sense ive heard a lot of people say they have bad reactions to it so i guess it depends. i like the rest if your suggestions the only thing i would add is astaxanthin and if not on hrt, estriol cream
>>
>>43108844
It’s a common breakout in my family me and my sisters all get breakouts from it.
>>
>>43108912
Breakout trigger* sorry I’m shitty at typing over the phone.
>>
Onions milk is better than dairy milk
>>
>>43108780
Also somehow forgot Botox
But don’t start baby botox or whatever, wait till your 30s or when early lines are starting to form. If you use Botox too early all you are doing is giving yourself antibodies for the toxin and it will eventually stop working when you actually do need it.
