i think the problem is always the adults. even with the purest of intentions they fuck up at raising their kids. always. every kid grows up to have unresolved trauma from their parents regardless of how great their parents were at raising them.much of this transing kids is parents with vicarious fomo. their afraid of fucking their kid up by making their kid wait until they're of age to transition. the other part is parents equally as afraid, but in the inverse. they're afraid it's a social trend or fad that their kid will grow out of so they don't want to let the kid do anything drastic or otherwise irreversible.damned if you do damned if you don't. it's not easy being a parent for that reason. regardless of what choice you make as a parent, you're always making the /wrong/ decision. hence, each generation comes out a different flavored of fucked up in relation to the last.there's no book on raising kids. no science to it. it's just trial and error. but yes. more times than not the parents are to blame. students failing at school? kids with fourth grade read levels in college? always. the parents are to blame for not holding their kid accountable or instilling good habits. the kids are a reflection of the parents. if the parents are shitty people, the kids will be equally as shitty.
