How many laser sessions before it leads to noticeable "patching"? Also, will people know I got it by the redness? Any ways to hide the redness if so? I live with my parents. My beard is very dense and somewhat thick.

It'll be noticeably red for a day or two. Maybe you could argue to them that it's really bad razor burn or something

wait a few minutes for most of it to disappear and a few days for it to completely disappear

laser isn't technically permanent. get it and if you actually regret it, you can either minoxidil your face or accept looking younger & healthier forever.

patchiness may be evident in the first couple sessions as long as they actually use strong settings for you. i had like 20 sessions total & ive been doing electro for months

one, but you have to make sure it's the right type of laser (alexandrite). It will start falling out within ten days.

I did eight sessions last year, with the last one being in December, then had my ninth session last week, so I got to see what it looks like with three months of inactivity.
Certain areas are basically hairless now (armpits), other areas are substantially less hairy (pubes, torso, legs)

I dont want patchiness though it will be obvious something weird happened to me unless I shave every day or some shit. Ideally like a generalized uniform decrease of density or slowing down growth.
