Yea I was a cringe low commitment crossdresser in HS, I somehow thought that was better than just going full fem, but in hindsight I think it came off as kind of perverted. I didn't really crossdress much as a young kid as my mother didn't really have very feminine clothes around that I found pretty enough to bother putting on, outside of her wedding dress but that just made me sad wearing and felt like crossing a boundary. I thought I could remedy the lack of pretty clothes by making my own dress at 10 or so but I chickened out when I finally had to ask my mom for the sewing kit.
