The youth groups are run specifically to keep young LGBTQ youth from interacting with potential predators, but once young people age out of those they don't bother joining the adult group. The seniors groups are still OVERWHELMINGLY dominated by L and G, but they're not really about LGBTQ any more, it's just old people hangouts, all old people do those. Which means you're really only left with middle aged LGBTQ people, and the LGB and Q are busy with their lives. They've really got all of their rights, they're not being actively targeted, and between family and career they don't need more than an event or two a year. Meanwhile gay bars/spas are thriving all around the world, which has displaced pride for the Q and the closeted. The reason the only people showing up to pride is T and cishet allies is because nobody else needs it any more.
