Many cis women, especially those from northern climates, have leg hair and don’t get dysphoria. If you think the social expectations are dysphoria, the rest of your dysphoria is probably fake too.

Yeah that's body dismorphia not dysphoria
>>
>>43136590
There's a difference in the amount and overall quality of body hair you get from testosterone puberty vs estrogen puberty. There's also how it being added onto other traits increases clockability, enhancing dysphoria.

I think if more cis women had thicker, coarser body hair more would be uncomfortable with it.

Southern euro girls and middle easterns can get body hair that almost matches men.. they don't get chest hair mostly but thats about it
>>43136590
Truth op. Thats why they call themselves transgenders and not transsexuals
>>
>>43136624
is this the reason peoples lanaguage trended to transgender away from transsexual?
>>
>>43136639
Yes
>>
>>43136639
It's when we went from being a medical diagnosis to an ideological movement. Big mistake
>>
>>43136624
It's the coarseness and overall thickness of it that's a major difference. Like comparing my leg hair to that of my mom's or sister's is night and day.
>>
>>43136590
I had a hairy chest and my belly had a beard. Fuck off with this crap. If you genuinely believe this you never dealt with actual unambiguous male body hair
>>
I user to be a hairy moid and now that I shave, I see hairy arms and cringe
>>
>>43137867
Luckily my chest and belly hair (mostly) went away with HRT + IPL. Arm hair has thinned out. Leg hair turned lighter but is still thick and coarse and I hate it.
>>
>>43136590
hihi;) saved!
>>43137902
do lasers bought in hardware shops with shavers and tvs work? i am thinking about buying one. would it work on beard? face and torso hair is the worst. bleh!
>>
>>43137913
I have no idea. I had a Braun IPL for the longest time that gave me really effective reduction on my torso and some mild reduction on legs. Recently switched to a ViQure Epipro laser and it seemed to work on a few more spots judging by the pain, but need to see just how much more reduction I get. I have an unfortunate mix of blonde, brown, and black hair so even with fully effective laser I'm gonna have prickly legs :(
>>
>>43137974
oh thanks. how expensive?
>>
>>43138032
$1200 or so USD. Basically the most expensive home laser I could find that was vetted. I bet you could order it directly from the manufacturer for cheaper though. I got the 200W version.
>>
>>43138070
woah. cant afford desu.
>>
>>43138075
rip I just used my tax return money on it.

i stopped shaving often like a couple ears ago and i couldnt be happier, i shave my legs like maybe once every 4-6 months and every time i do i remember that its literal hell i hate it so much. i dont get how theres trans women who shave like every day
>>
trannies are obsessed with gender roles. if society in general didnt force gender roles so much there would be less trannies. thank you for coming to my thesis dissertation.

forgot to read the whole post and found out its kinda mean i do not agree with this post...
>>
>>43137902
Yeah mine also went away with just hrt, except a few dark hairs down the line from the belly button which I'll laser. Still, OP pretending like male and female body hair are the same almost reads like honcope
>>
>>43138180
From everyone I've talked to, some androgenic hair goes away, but arm/leg hair does not reduce much in thickness/coarseness.

Rn I'm basically hoping to induce paradoxical hypertrichosis in my legs to produce dark hairs, and then the laser will work on said dark hairs.
>>
>>43138267
My arm and leg hair got a lot lighter and thinner from hrt. But so did my facial hair and I known that's uncommon so maybe I'm weird
>>
>>43138154
I'm with you.
I used to stress about body hair and removing it, but then COVID-19 hit and no one cared what I look like anymore so I just stopped and I realized I don't get "dysphoria" around body hair, it's purely social expectations.
I'm now significantly more comfortable, because frankly body hair is good for personal comfort. It's insulating in winter, it wicks sweat in summer, and reduces friction from skin-on-skin contact like underarms and between thighs.
That said, I do get waxed now and then for special events, and the hair removal is just part of making that occasion special.
