These are just my sexual preferences and shouldn't matter for your guy's very personal decision. I'm bisexual and not particularly picky about partners. I've slept with all flavors of trans and cis. Overall my preferences tend to go in order of best to worst: Cis Woman, MTF pre op, Gay Man, FTMs, MTF post op. My reasoning is simply because the SRS creates a really unfortunate situation down there and the partners I've had with that situation took a lot of work and often had complications that would ruin the night. It is very "othering" to get SRS though, like you become a minority among a minority and nobody these days thinks someone like you actually exists. The other week I was at the doctor's office for a suspected UTI issue and the doctor just blatantly assumed that I still had a penis. I have genital dysphoria, never used them for anything besides peeing. I just don't want SRS because I don't personally think it would benefit me specifically; it offers me nothing. HRT and an orchiectomy have largely addressed my genital dysphoria, I'm not making test, my penis is small and doesn't work, and of course no one is messing with it.
