'Transition' won't fix anything because it won't stop you from being you, your self is always going to be in continuity with your self. The solution is to stop being depressed. You can do this through regular exercise, by socialising with real people who aren't ideologically compromised and also depressed, and by having a goal that you're working towards. You're not depressed because you can't be a woman, you want to be a woman because you're depressed. Thankfully you still have enough sense to rightly know that death is not a solution, but transition appeals as a kind of non-lethal suicide wherein you get a second chance as another person.Unless you're HSTS. In which case you're just a self-hating homo or something.
