i've been wanting to actually learn to draw beyond shitty doodles for several years and i figure now's as good a time as any. this isn't the first time i tried self teaching fundamentals but i always dropped off in favor of school so i decided to try posting it here regularly. i know wanting extrinsic motivation is fembrained but i don't really care, if it pushes me to lock in so be it. plus, i'd rather post here than /i/ or /ic/ since i wanna see what the drawfags here think. i want to draw good pooner comics so i have to actually learn to draw.
i'm following this guide for self teaching: https://www.soloartcurriculum.com/. since i don't wanna start by drawing people i'm gonna swap the first 2 units and start with draw a box and perspective. thus, today i have lines from the precursor to the draw a box challenge.
