I think its less a problem with trans people and more a problem with the fact that once you come out and actually transition you have to completely reinvent yourself, so for the first few years most trans people lack any personality traits that they can hold onto other than being trans, which leads to some really insufferable people, my social life got so much more fulfilling once I stopped talking to people who had only been out for a few years
