I'd say give him a day or two to communicate with you first and explain what happened, or, if your impression/gut feeling you got with him tells you he really liked you, text him yourself ONCE asking if something happened to him. If you decide to text him, DO NOT INSIST or text again asking what happened so you don't look desperate. If he's a man worth anything, he'll respond soon.
