If we travel go the edge of the universe and then keep going outwards, what happens? What do we run into?Just purely theoretically if one was to have a magic spaceship that is faster than light and the ecer increasing expansion of the universe. You will leave earth, than the solar system, than the milky way.. and eventually you will be at the very edge of the universe, what happens when you keep going?My theories:Theory 1: by traveling beyond the edge you create more space, thus you are aiding the expansion of the universeTheory 2: true nothingnessTheory 3: when you attempt to leave the bounds of the universe time slows down to the point no matter how fast you go you simply cant outrun the expansion

To elaborate on theory 3:What i mean is. I think, the nature of our universe, as in you take all the mass and even the empty space and call its entirety a mass(the universe), is infinite. Meaning in order to leave the confines of this mass, this thing, you'd need infinite energy+1.Because if we think of the universe as say a circle for simplicity, the ever increasing speed of expansion means there is an infinite element that is feeding energy into the system, most likely from a higher dimension. It is my belief that this means one is able to get up to all sorts of fun inside the confines of the circle, but when you reach the border of the circle, you need an infinite energy to escape said circle. When you escape it, there may very well be a void with even more circles, eafh their own universe. Who knows.

Outside of that is nothing because nothing has arrived there yet. The universe has all of the everything in it, and outside of all of the everything is nothing, it's not even empty space, it doesn't have dimensions, it's just nothing, it's not real. See the problem is your brain is wired to understand a universe in which everything belongs inside something else. Eventually the things that things are inside are so big that the only thing they're inside is the universe, and so you're wondering what the universe is inside. And that's because you're trying to apply the rules that apply inside the universe to outside the universe, but those rules only apply inside the universe. Basically human beings are not mentally equiped to imagine what's outside the universe, we can only understand it logically, not conceptually.
