>>43191389unironically industrialization and modern medicine are the reason society is able to support equal rights between the sexes. if you live in a world where women have to have like 8 kids for 3 to make it to adulthood, that literally just has to be the career for women or your society will have population collapse and be invaded. now, the math shifts because most women can reasonably have kids and then work. its more efficient and a society that forces women out of the workforce is losing out on productivity
