Any advice from y'all on whether to start laser or electro for removing facial hair? I hear conflicting info so I'm curious what your experience is. I've got quite dense facial hair down my neck and that shit's gotta go.

>>43198808You're probably black, so go with electrolysis. If there isn't a high contrast between your skin and hair laser won't help much so you may as well skip to the part that'll work. It's going to hurt a LOT, especially the lips, so take ibuprofen or something before you go to your appointment>your experienceLaser was great for me, but it left a ton of pale hair that I had before starting so I did electrolysis to remove the rest. It took about twice as long as I expected, but having a completely smooth face was worth it. I'll never have to shave again
>>43201485Many laser clinics use alexandrite/nd:YAG combination lasers now which supposedly can be calibrated to work on all skintones. I don't have any firsthand experience with this but it seems like plenty of black people have had effective results. Probably best to just do a consultation and ask; I recall Milan had before and after photos for a variety of skintones.
