there are way too many fucking trannies in this video for me to get through it. I think I’m going to become a car person now
>>
>>43200812
And every single one of them is a 3/10
>>
>>43200829
I can see why people hate the pnw now. If I had to see this many trannies irl id become super transphobic too
>>
>>43200812
wtf is everyone in this video autistic?
https://youtu.be/TOCezQrUGpk?si=PpzJK9FUxGxacbAz&t=38
>>
>>43200871
Dude it's fucking nonstop up here. I used to be live-and-let-live with trannies but the ones around here are fucking insufferable
>>
are Americans always this exited when they ride a bus, the lowest echelon of public transport?
>>
>>43200904
>insufferable
honestly in what way? by being ugly or weirdly dressed in public or what?
i live here, don't give a fuck about seeing ugly/weird people. zero impact on my day. sounds to me like a 'you' problem (read: you're a judgy prick)

Transit foamers used to be comfy autists but channels like Not Just Bikes turned them all into screeching delusional freaks who everyone hates

I didn't watch the video but I can guess the basic idea:
-America bad
-People older than me bad
-Trains good
-Europe good (I have never been to europe or perhaps I have been to a few rich inner city neighborhoods of luxembourg and zurich)
-Cars bad (except when it's convenient for me)
-Bikes good (unless you're having fun with them in which case it's toxic masculinity)
>>
>>43201276
They're jamming up my social groups, my queer organizations with their drama, they're sanctimonious about every fucking thing and presume everyone defer to them on every topic. Histrionic losers who think they have special insight into things because they take medication.
>>
>>43201381
Affordable pubic transit in the form of trains and trams word be great but yes these militant people are annoying as hell
>>
>>43200812
> I think I’m going to become a car person now
dont go to the jdm meet bro you might literally die
>>
>>43201446
It's not that I don't appreciate having strong feelings about it but I wish they could understand that they are just being ragebaited by the same algorithms that make their parents think democrats are trying to trans the kids and make them squat over litter boxes in school. Lots of people who have or are dependent on cars want better transport, and lots of people who live in the suburbs and wageslave would rather live in a hip gentrified hustle and bustle converted warehouse with brick walls and just hang out in cafes all day so haranguing them about how things were so much better on my european vacation isn't ACTUALLY doing activism it's just making people associate transit autism with obnoxious stupidity

Cars are an inanimate object. Some drivers can be a problem. I've been doored, tboned, people who suck at cars have drawn blood and caused expensive damaged to my bike because they don't check mirrors before doing something stupid. And you? What's your experience with cars, other than your mother still driving you around despite being old enough to vote and serve in the military because you refuse to learn to drive because of a Youtuber?
>>
>>43201438
honestly sounds like experiencing the autism/tranny overlap... autists don't understand gender or social cues very well and have a very strong sense of justice leading to a type of person that displays anti-social behavior while expecting inclusion/acceptance to social spaces. idk what to do about it either but you can do better than judging every tranny bc of the autists.
>>
>>43201651
>Cars are an inanimate object. Some drivers can be a problem.
so your point is purely semantic? would you prefer if people said 'driving bad'?
>>
>>43201490
I’ve never seen a tranny into cars except that one youtuber
>>
>>43201710
Any "point" is purely semantic, that's what semantic means.

But, sort of. I would prefer if people would refer to collisions as collisions and not "accidents", and I would prefer if people described the movements of vehicles as though they were directed by drivers, which in fact they are. Especially when those movements cause harm.

Imagine if all the news articles were like "a gun discharged today in south central, striking several people. An LAPD spokesman said no criminality is suspected". Because that's how people talk when someone gets run down by someone driving a car.
>>
>>43201778
I know the one you mean. Her taste in cars is that of a woman trying to appeal to men, which makes her fembrained.
>>
>>43201810
>Any "point" is purely semantic, that's what semantic means.
now THAT'S some semantics!
>I would prefer if people would refer to collisions as collisions and not "accidents"
agreed actually. funnily enough, not just bikes talked about that in his latest video.

NJB is Joe Rogan but for transit. Just because he sometimes says things that aren't technically wrong doesn't make him harmless
>>
>>43201903
but like... what's actually wrong with the videos? has he said untrue or misleading things? if he has i would definitely be interested in hearing about it since i don't appreciate crap content.

He's an upper middle class twit who moved to a fancy area in northern europe and he has made it his life's mission to poison the well when it comes to anglosphere transit and urban planning discussions despite the fact that (a) he has no background, training, or work experience in urban planning, and (b) he has specifically said he considers North America in particular to be a trash place that should simply be abandoned in favor of, I guess, Zurich or Luxembourg City. Because of course, why doesn't everyone just move there? If they don't it's because they are stupid NIMBY cager boomers who don't know what's in their own interests.

Basically he's a massive shithead and he's caused untold amounts of brain damage to a lot of young people who will probably eventually "come to their senses" and decide trains are stupid and cyclists should all die.
>>
>>43201984
the third reply is an uncomfy truthnuke but yea the two before it are very stupid and doomer

So like I said, just because someone occasionally says something that you agree with does not make them harmless.

Also most YIMBY-aligned "urban planner" personalities are just paid shills for large property developers. Zoomers have no idea how much of the "grassroots" content on urban planning they are fed by their phones is actually just pushing an insidious agenda to make a few people very rich while framing it as a social justice discussion.

Never forget that if you see something on social media that makes you indignant or angry *someone* very likely stands to profit from whatever the knee-jerk response ought to be. Someone is paying for the content. Large scale movements to deregulate NOW NOW NOW do not happen because "people want affordable housing".

Obviously, people *do* want affordable housing. That's the grain of truth that makes you trust it without question. But that's not what's powering these "grassroots movements".
>>
>>43201984
i asked you what's wrong with the videos. you have shown me nothing wrong with the videos. is there anything wrong with the videos, or do you just not like the guy?
>>
>>43202266
>what's wrong with elon musk though? you have not said what specifically you don't like about him, is there anything wrong that he has said or is it just elon derangement syndrome?
Yeah I have this convo every few years just about the latest clown with a cult following. Nothing is ever a *real* reason to distrust the clown. And I already told you what was wrong with NJB, you just didn't like the answers. I look forward to 5 years from now when you've whiplashed into bragging about coal rolling cyclists, because that's what you midwits always do when you realize you were being cringe, you overcorrect.
>>
>>43202318
>>what's wrong with elon musk though?
i didn't ask you what's wrong with not just bikes, i asked you what's wrong with his videos.
>>
>>43201984
>come to their senses" and decide trains are stupid and cyclists should all die.
Why are do you think your personal opinions about travel are facts and not just your opinions lmfao?

>he has specifically said he considers North America in particular to be a trash place that should simply be abandoned in favor of, I guess, Zurich or Luxembourg City.
Based on those tweets, he's clearly just saying that America won't have the walkable city that those types of people like, and if you want that in America, then don't hold your breath.
>>
>>43200812
Are there any trannies in this video or are they all just males with long hair lol

I genuinely kinda miss when you could be a male with long hair and ppl would be like "Fuck yeah bro" and not "Your hair makes me visualize about people cutting off their penises"
>>
seattles buildout of lightrail and the support and priority they have given it, is generational when paired with their housing policies :)

>>43200926
sometimes when its a kind i've never been on b4

>>43200877
this is the dumbest question i've ever read on this board. autistic ppl love trains pretty famously

>>43201381
as someone who cares a lot about urbanism and building out walkable/bikeable neighborhoods serviced by high quality transit in america, i kind of have a bone to pick with him for how much of a righteous angry doomer he despite the progress that is being made right now! he is someone who just cannot bring himself to deal in nuance.
