No. I think its like trying to find out if someone is an 'npc'. Its possible or even probable that they are (i.e. not trutrans) but proving it or sorting them or having any assigned value is worthless. There is no reliable way to determine if someone is trans, so you may as well take their word for it.

My dysphoria (which I didn't recognize as so) was completely focused on specific things, maybe I thought that being a guy kinda sucked and being a woman would be nice once or twice, but what I thought about much more often is the length of my non-existent hair and being forced into being a cishet dude male bro even though I absolutely hated it.When I got these sorted out years later, only then did the tranny thoughts really started to fester in my mind, and the button test became something I took more seriously and I eventually trooned out. Ofc, I wish I trooned out earlier, but I can't really blame myself for not doing so, short hair sucks ass to have.I don't think the button test is absolutely useless though, maybe it's more useful for the people that have a more loud type of dysphoria. But in my case it felt more like a fun what-if scenario than an actual assessment of gender dysphoria
