Does /lgbt/ think the button test is a reliable way to whether someone is trans or not?
>>
>>43202042
no, at least 50% of men would press said button
>>
No. I think its like trying to find out if someone is an 'npc'. Its possible or even probable that they are (i.e. not trutrans) but proving it or sorting them or having any assigned value is worthless. There is no reliable way to determine if someone is trans, so you may as well take their word for it.
>>
men don't want to be women
>>
>>43202099
I have often heard from cis men about how they would play with their boobs or get gangbanged if they were able to become women and lament that they couldnt even if temporarily. Most men want to be women even. Or at least recognize an urge.
>>
>>43202130
straight men don't want to get gangbanged by men no matter what sex they are
men who want to have sex with men as women are either repressed homosexuals or transsexuals
>>
>>43202042
no because a repper would probably answer no just to avoid being detected even if they're secretly thinking about what'd they do if they were a passoid.
>>
>>43202042
I transitioned due to the button test and I regret nothing
>>
its not reliable exclusively because most people aren't self aware. the average man would press it, jerk off for 5 days and then kill himself
>>
With the stipulations that you aren't anymore attractive to people than you are now and aren't able to give birth, then I think its accurate.
>>
the button isnt real. You choose between being a moid or being a tranny
>>
>>43202042
not really, but it is much more likely for someone to be trans if they would press it
>>
>>43202042
No. Transitioning is what makes one trans. Those who aren’t transitioning and haven’t transitioned aren’t trans.
>>
>>43204518
That's pretty much just semantics, but I understand the need for such a distinction.
Wouldn't the button test help people recognize their own desire to transition then?
>>
>>43204602
It might be a useful heuristic for that purpose, yeah.
>>
>>43202042
probably not considering incels would probably press it thinking the grass is greener on the other side.
>>
>>43204626
Almost all incels are raging misogynists though
>>
>>43205228
They think they’d improve womanhood, no joke. They think cis women are inherently vile and abusive
>>
>>43205247
are they wrong
>>
>>43205247
This makes me feel disgusting about myself. I don't believe I'm virtuous enough, nor do I have the dignity and integrity required to "improve womanhood" but that's all something I aspire towards, but my lack of these qualities narcissistic incel
>>
>>43205333
>but my lack of these qualities narcissistic incel
somehow managed to miss a couple of words. I meant to say "but my lack of these qualities make me no different from a narcissist incel"
>>
What's the button test?
>>
>>43202042
It depends on the phrasing.
I’m not trans but if I could switch back and forth between sexes at will I’d like that, but if I had to stay a woman I wouldn’t press it, I like being male. I think this is to do with being bi though, no straight cis man actually wants to be a woman
>>43202130
Straight me do not want to get gangbanged. I’d do that if I was a woman temporarily but I’ve already done that as a man lmao
>>
>>43205399
Would you press a button to become opposite sex?

The question is whether there is a strong correlation between answering yes and being a tranny.
>>
>>43202042
Lion would be the biggest honfident hon on the planet
>>
>>43205423
I don't think there's a strong correlation. Wanting to be a woman doesn't make you one
>>
>>43202042
youll get more accurate numbers if you stress that it's one way
>>
>>43205515
Yeah, that was implied, but I should've mentioned it
>>
>>43204626
I think it's possible that a lot of incels are actually repressed transbians and that's why they have horrible romantic interactions with women. That said, modern inceldom is mostly about hating foids. I do just mean classic incels. This was Chris-Chan's problem and it is probably the problem of many other people. If you are like this you know you like girls but you have zero enthusiasm for dating them; it's confusing and unpleasant. Clavicular seems to be this type of guy.

>a lot of incels are actually repressed transbians and that's why they have horrible romantic interactions with women
That's 100% what my problem was before transitioning.
I loved women and wanted so desperately to be acknowledged by them and have a woman I was allowed to pay attention to and shower with care and admiration, but no girl would ever even so much as give me the time of day.
I never went on a date, I never asked a girl out, I was never so much as flirted with.
I was utterly invisible to women entirely.

Within weeks of coming out as trans suddenly girls were interested in me, I had a one-night-stand with my neighbor, people actually notice me, I feel SEEN by women I'm attracted to, I get compliments and people flirt with me and try to ask me out.

Even being an unpassing twinkhon stereotype is a PARADISE of an existence compared to being an incel boy, transmaxxing is 100% real and denying it is insanity.
>>
>>43202042
depends what button test you speak about, if it is the "get ton of money but have x% of turning into a woman" i would say no, if it is just turn into the opposite sex without way of turning back i guess it could depending on the reason why they pressed it
>>
>>43205966
I meant the latter one. Would there be a wrong reason for pressing it
>>
>>43202130
Nothing stopping them getting gangbanged now
>>
>>43202053
nah I don't believe that, maybe 10% would do that on a whimsy, could be like 40% in the age group under 25 tho
>>
>>43202042
I wouldnt press the button
t. cis man on hrt
>>
>>43207994
me neither t: futamoder
>>
>>43205941
What makes them attracted to you?
>>
>>43208007
>t: futamoder
gonna need a proof of that
>>
>>43207994
I don't believe you
>>
>>43205423
Trannies want to be opposite sex, but not everyone who wants to be opposite sex is nor will become trans.
>>
take your HRT, retards
>>
>>43208034
why do you need proof of me being a chick with a dick? thats like half of this board at least
>>
>>43202042
I tried the button test when I was 15 and had decided I wouldn't press it at the time. 3 years later, I transitioned kek

At the time I didn't mind being a guy, yeah sure, I hated my body and all, but I could just not look at myself in the mirror and carry on with my day, maybe wear a hoodie if it was too much (at least that was my train of thought). What I absolutely did mind though was the fact I wasn't allowed any hairstyle other than a buzzcut and that I couldn't act like a faggot or else I'd be bullied harshly. My dysphoria (which I didn't recognize as so) was completely focused on specific things, maybe I thought that being a guy kinda sucked and being a woman would be nice once or twice, but what I thought about much more often is the length of my non-existent hair and being forced into being a cishet dude male bro even though I absolutely hated it.

When I got these sorted out years later, only then did the tranny thoughts really started to fester in my mind, and the button test became something I took more seriously and I eventually trooned out. Ofc, I wish I trooned out earlier, but I can't really blame myself for not doing so, short hair sucks ass to have.

I don't think the button test is absolutely useless though, maybe it's more useful for the people that have a more loud type of dysphoria. But in my case it felt more like a fun what-if scenario than an actual assessment of gender dysphoria

There are many pros and cons to being a woman
pros
>my sisters are pretty and get tons of simps so i think i could land a cute bf if i was one
>you don't have to worry about muh job or muh studies since you can always marry a betabuxx
>it doesn't matter if you're shy or autistic or rizzless if you're a woman
cons
>you can get raped/SAd
>periods
>pregnancy
>i would miss my big dick
>>
>>43209067
