Why would my GF repress poly urges for years? Any reason why any of you prefer the poly lifestyle? What do after figuring this out? ---------------------------------------
>>
poly doesn’t actually exist it’s just as excuse to cheat, there no such thing as a poly urge she just want to cheat on you

I repress mine because my boyfriend is monogamous and his boundaries are important to me.
I prefer the poly lifestyle because people are dynamic, and tastes shift, I love my boyfriend but he will never make all of us satisfied, neither did any of my ex's. but nonetheless I want to make him happy and proud, so i'll do my best :3

it happens
dump, ghost and move on. unless you are poly too...
>>
>>43215898
it’s literally just sanctioned cheating. you dated long enough for her to want to cheat, she’s just sprucing up the terminology around it
>>

if my partner told me they are poly and want to have an """""""open relationship""""""" or multiple partners I would instandly break up and I suggest you to do the same
and I'm a tranner saying that

If you had only ever had a monogamous relationship, had never discussed the possibility of opening things up, and had previously mutually agreed to having a monogamous relationship, then she is essentially saying she really wanted to cheat on you but didn't. But she definitely pushed the boundaries of what's acceptable already and is testing the waters of what you'd be willing to accept

Take this knowledge and do with it what you will

she just wants to test you. you know the hint baiters. she wants you to CORRECT MOAR. HARDER. personal experience.

A long time ago I was pressured into agreeing to let the theyfab I was dating be poly. I was immediately invited into a group chat where she was going right up to the line of cheating with a bunch of 30+ year old rapehons who were telling her I was abusive and controlling for being monogamous. Less than an hour later she was sending them fresh nudes of her masturbating on a public toilet. It took me years to mentally recover.

If you don't mention your poly right at the start of a relationship you shouldn't try to open it up. Sever and move on
>>
is there such thing as a poly person who isnt super manipulative and obsessed with sex?
>>
What's wrong with repressing that? I've had romantic feelings for multiple people almost my whole life and just ignore it. As long as you aren't fucking anyone else or kissing them it's not any different from being sexually attracted to multiple people and choosing not to fuck them. The latter is accepted and expected, but not the former? It's fine if you want to pursue the ideal ethically non-monogamous relationship but it's not like sexual orientation where you can't just choose to conform to the social norm. I'm perfectly fine committing to a monogamous relationship. I don't feel repressed or oppressed or bitter or anything.

yes. they just stay single usually
>>
>>43215898
she wants to practice advanced monkey branching
>>43215917
if you heard like
>you don't satisfy my needs
in a typical relationship you'd be heartbroken
every poly relationship i've seen it's like they're a group of apathetic fwb's that barely tolerate eachother, like it's medium-long term competitive group dating which blows up once two or more people fixate on the same person
(that or an abusive sex cult style situ where one person pulls the strings)

I’m a swinger so I would’ve originally thought that it was about how hot group sex is, like swinging, but I’ve know “poly” people and they never have group sex, they just can’t commit to a single partner because of either low interest or narcissism, the ones I’ve known aren’t even especially kinky most of the time. It basically is just sanctioned cheating.

I don’t even think most of them are obsessed with sex, maybe amab polys are but the afabs still only fuck occasionally, it genuinely does always just seem like a commitment thing.
