Is fear of eye damage from laser hair therapy warranted? I see a tiny gap between the eyewear and the face, and am kinda afraid of the laser diffusing into my eyes

Not doing electrolysis because you cannot convince me to have a needle that may or may not be shared with another client get stabbed into my skin
>>
this scared me too, but uh i think i didnt cover it perfectly the whole time and idk a year later i have normal eyesight. there were even some times when my eyes would be closed but like i could see the flashes regardless from it happening beside my upper lip, but i'm okay still

See the flashes? What are they like?
>>
Honestly I don't really know. I saw some flashes indirectly but my eyesight is fine.
>>
>>43221301
Just close your eyes lol
>>
>>43221382
But doesn't hair removal laser have a risk of passing through the eyelid given it's frequency
>>
>>43221413
Its frequency
>>
>>43221361
idk theres a flashbang of light even with them closed iirc, it scared me the first few times
>>

I've been getting regular LHR on my face for 3 years and my vision is fine. I wear glasses but I wore them before starting and my prescription hasn't changed in 5 years
>>
>>43221727
Any changes in eye sensitivity?
>>
>>43221681
Heya maybe get your eyes checked? Maybe there is a cure for it
>>
>>43221301
I do both and they're both fine.
They hurt like hell tho.
>>
>>43222496
whut i said i was fine
>>
>>43222510
Ok
>>
>>43221301
Yes
I got laser hair removal a couple years back and the stupid indian doctor wasn't careful enough and now I'm blind and can't see shit
>>
>>43221301
no cause they'll cover your eyes and you can close them with the things on your eyes.
you should be more concerned about them not doing the gel correctly and burning your skin.
>>
>>43222554
Bibbit! tttt's cutest girl
I hope ur joking
>>
>>43222599
The gel?!?!
>>
>>43222760
cooling gel
>>
lmao at all the laserhons in this thread. "just close your eyes" LMAO the laser gets into your eyeballs through your face, reflecting from your bones. its not like a keychain laserpointer
>>
>>43221301
just do electrolysis if you want it actually be permanent, and the probe is always sterile
>>
>>43222760
they cover your face in goop it feels disgusting
>>
>>43222795
>>43222829
Is it better to get laser for arms and legs
Then for face you get electrolysis?
To avoid eye damage
>>
>>43221301
if you get it done at a reputable place (e.g. hospital) they will not fuck it up

they have metal covers they put on your eyes that dont look like this shitty stock photo

its normal to see some flashes from the laser bouncing around under your skin but its not bright in my experience
