During my last set of bloods, my estradiol got taken twice
One sample was measured with mass spectrometry and the other with Roche ECLIA
Does anyone know which is more correct? The measurements were significantly different

Also, does anyone know what the ideal free testosterone level is? Mine is 1.33% which ends up being .49 ng/dl
I've been fairly low energy for a while and been experiencing genital pain so I wonder if that's related

My estradiol is fairly high (460 - 540 depending on measurement methodology) and so my SHBG is too, (125 nmol/L)
My LH is also higher than I think it should be (2.3 mIU/mL) but I think I've read high estradiol can have a positive feedback effect on LH

Similarly, my DHT is a bit high at 11 ng/dl too but I'm not sure I've been having any masculinization but I'm constantly paranoid about it
Not sure how it can be so high considering my T is pretty low and I think DHT is only supposed to be like 10% total T but its more like 33% for me

Sorry for the blogpost but I'm just nervous I'm screwing up my transition with my levels

How long have you been on hrt? If it has been longer than a month on that dose, your LH (and t) should be lower. I would increase my dose if I got labs like that but you are already pretty high.

I've been on HRT for 15 months
My LH was suppressed about a year ago but I lowered my dose slightly and it went up and hasn't come down
It's strange because my FSH is properly low

Right now I take 5mg EV every 5 days

To be clear my total T is 37 ng/dl which I thought was within an okay range?

But yeah, with how high my E and SHBG already are I'm not sure if I can really increase my dose any more. Perhaps monotherapy is not for me?

Bit worried that I'm some sort of genetic freak and my body just isn't compatible with HRT

I calculated it wrong. As long as it is working and your t is suppressed, I wouldn't worry about not having textbook monotherapy suppression. You could try 4mg/4days or 3/3 if want to get LH down without upping your dose.

I'm deep stealth and probably gonna hook up with a friend soon. I told him I'd take the pill so i probably cant get pregnant. Obviously can't just say and then never take it /show casual proof.
How bad would it be if i'd actually take the pill with 0.03mg Ethinylestradiol and 2mg Dienogest on top of my regular hrt (oral E and prog) for a couple days? I'd think its so low dosed it wouldnt do much, maybe just reduce my regular dosage?

what is your understanding of the powers method? being genuine not combative, would be helpful to know which specific regimen youre talking about. the one that most people talk about is essentially just monotherapy except you start with bica and add prog like 6 months in. theres some other regimens he does with pills for estrone or pio for fat redistribution, but i assume that wasnt what you were talking about. most of it is probably bunk but if you want to follow it i dont think its actively harmful.

Ignoring the financial aspects probably yes? Tho I haven't tried myself I have heard that Otokonoko packages will make it through customs (somehow, having dealt with them in the past I have no clue how that could be). I am in Argentina I suppose it's important information...

But the financial aspects are significant, and taking that into account I could only really afford veterinary E injections, my gf has been able to get her hands on those for a couple of months, not entirely sure if we could afford them for both of us, and frankly I'm not entirely sure what the quality of E for animals is.

but yes do one now to make sure youre not hondosing yourself or otherwise fucking up your levels. minimum check e2 and t to make sure your sex hormones are right. if you can afford it also consider checking fsh lh shbg. depending on particular medication youre taking may want to check ast alt potassium prolactin dht albumin cholesterol whatever
goal is to make sure everything looks good. if everything looks fine then just keep doing what youre doing and retest every year or so. if something is fucked up (most commonly unsuppressed t) adjust your regimen and retest after ~3 months
if you cant afford a test its not the end of the world to skip it, as long as you arent masculinizing and you dont feel your kidneys shutting down or something youll probably be fine. if you can afford it though you absolutely should test just in case, since presumably youre gonna be on hrt for a very long time so you wanna get it right

no, i just mean that its hard to give specific advice without knowing more about you. like, if i were your doctor id want your whole chart to be able to narrow it down more (other endocrine issues, drug interactions, lifestyle factors, etc) but obviously im not asking you to dump your entire medical history over a shitposting board
if lowering your dose spikes your t then i wouldnt chance it, highly unlikely the elevated lh will be a problem if you have t suppressed, so decreasing dose would have more harm than benefit probably
do you know what your trough levels were at 4mg/5d? if your e was >200 and your t was >50 then yea you might just have abnormal t production. if your e was significantly lower then you could maybe consider switching to een to reduce spikiness but idk. mostly spitballing here, again without your specific medical info you should take most of this as just brainstorming and not medical advice (not that you should take medical advice from random nonas online in the first place)

not a lot of research unfortunately so hard to say what implications are. powers was posting some shit about some kind of genotype difference but he frequently is a bit of a crank so take with a massive grain of salt
it could imply you should do a lower e2 dose + aas, but frankly <500 is all fine mostly so id just maintain course
you have very interesting levels though, when i was on ev 4mg/5d several years ago my trough was ~190 e2 and ~25 t. wonder if you just are slower to metabolize…i would love to see what your kidneys look like

Could I do like 4mg EE injection every 2 weeks? My troughs were always higher than the simulator by like 100pg/mL on 5mg EV a week when I got a blood test off hrt entirely my base E levels were 66pg/mL. Think my troughs will be high enough?

Regimen is 8.4mg EEn weekly, test was taken at trough.

about two months ago whilst I was taking cypro my prolactin was elevated at 'less than 2000 miu/l', so like keep that in mind, and also I quit cypro two months prior to this test.

Estradiol - 331 pg/ml
Testosterone - 25 ng/dl
Prolactin - 21 ng/ml

is my E too high? is the prolactin ok?
