>What's your favorite biome
Definately deserts, specifically the chihuahuan, they're immensely beautiful and mean alot to us
>What's your guilty pleasure
Hard to find one we're *all* shamed of, the most shared one though is eating too much
>What's a thing you've been thinking about alot recently
Kinda stealing this answer, but he made us think about Japheth recently
>What generation are you a part of

>What's your favorite biome?
Appalachian temperate rainforests. I grew up in the area and I have a love of mountains and forests now.
>What's your guilty pleasure?
Bed rotting while browsing /tttt/ I guess.
>What's a word or name you've been thinking about recently
I've been thinking about the name Lain a lot. When I was 14 I saw SEL for the first time and started using it as a nickname, especially online. As cringe as it is, I've been doing so ever since. She was the first character I related to. But ever since the younger zoomers discovered Lain it feels weird because people assume I'm one of them. And frankly I don't really get along with that crowd. So I've been thinking of dropping it but I don't know what would replace it because it's been 15 years. So I've been thinking a lot about my online persona and names in general.
Bonus question!!

Amazing answer, it's so beautiful, do you have any pics you'd be willing to share?
We lived in Ohio for a little while, don't think its quite close enough to have been the same but I still miss it dearly.
>Bed rotting
Same, though not all of us feel bad about it
>Lain
I suppose the name grew into you more than anything else. People will always assume things, no matter what name you go by, it sounds like it means alot to you, you shouldnt let some interpretation stop you from being you
>Zillenial
It's scary that I'm closer to your age than I am being a kid again. What has life been like? I know that's a super open ended question, but, how do you feel about having lived for so long. What do you miss most about childhood?

Sadly no, I don't have any pictures. I don't live there anymore.
>What has life been like? I know that's a super open ended question, but, how do you feel about having lived for so long. What do you miss most about childhood?
Progressively more lonely. Friends getting married, having kids, moving on. Harder to make new ones because everyone is busy. When you're younger you are forced to socialize by virtue of being stuck in the same spaces (school, university) with others. Now all I have is work and my coworkers are all chuds. The financial freedom is nice I guess. I regret not trooning earlier. I don't miss being a child.
>>
>>43239373
>I don't miss being a child
Would it be rude to say that's metal as fuck?
I get it, we've experienced a taste of, somewhat, financial freedom lately, still early on for us, but we live on our own and buy our own food, so, it's, nice in alot of ways, floating.
I'm sorry your connections have drifted away, its, been scary seeing our own friend group also start to go down this path, even the youngest member has a job now and graduated already.
It's pretty though, the things that pile up in people, in alot of ways I suppose everyone is going through that drifting, and it makes for such beautiful connections when they find you

>What's your favorite biome?
I'm partial to the temperate deciduous forest biome found in Pennsylvania and across the American east coast. I love having 4 seasons, but especially living through the 3 other seasons that lead up the grande finale of the year, autumn. I love when it gets colder. I love that slightly lonely feeling of the leaves changing color, the days getting shorter, and putting on layers of clothes to stave away the cold.
>What's your guilty pleasure?
Flirting with girls living within a split personality. God, they're amazing, and learning about each of their personalities is sincerely captivating. I'm mentally and physically attracted to them, which is a dangerous combo for my own mental health
>What's a word or name you've been thinking about recently
Abimelech. He was a judge (sort of like a local tribal leader) in the nation of Israel, written about in the Book of Judges. I don't recall much about the book, but his name stuck with me.

>Collecting underwear
wait like your own right, YOUR OWN RIGHT???

It does sound like that, it makes me wonder why horses are equestrian and equal is equal, wonder what the etymology behind that is.

>>43244109

>what kind?? there's so so many, and so many beautiful different kinds
Any! Midwest nature trail, tropical jungle, mountain pines... I always feel at home when surrounded by trees.
>wait like your own right, YOUR OWN RIGHT???
Yeah my own lol.
>wonder what the etymology behind that is.
I'd put money on it that it was originally just people mashing "equal distance" together, and so many people said it that way they just decided to make it an official word.
>>
>>43244503
>yeah my own lol
can you elaborate, not to like, be weird but you like collecting underwear?? not judging just, curious why. more understandable if you're a girl but for some reason we're approaching this from the assumption that you're a dude that catalogues different boxer shorts
>equal distance
well duh of course its them mashing that together, but what does equal come from, and distance actually, hold on gotta look it up
so apparently Equal comes from Aequalem in latin, and Equestrian comes from Ekwo- which is a proto indo european root meaning swift, which then became Equester, which is all to say they're entirely unrelated :3
>>
>>43244386
>but wouldn't money make the others easily accessible?
Well money is fine i just don't actively pursue it. Maybe thats the sloth talking

>That's such a good word
I dont know the etymology of the word but its something to do with dreams. Ive been listening to and interpreting my friends dreams.

>What's your favorite biome?
I like forests in new england because that's where I grew up and I spent a lot of time hiking as a kid. There is so much variety in how things look at different levels of detail, from little bugs and lichen and the texture of tree bark all the way up to the shapes of hills and mountains and the shapes of patches of different kinds of trees. And it looks so different at different times of year too.

Last year I had to move back in with my parents for a bit and I had no money and no job, and I found it really relaxing to spend time in the woods. Many of the trails and roads in the area were once native american foot paths, and I started getting very sad (and silly -- i was being a stoner bum) thinking about how modern industrial society inevitably crushes every other way of life.

>What's your guilty pleasure?
Smoking weed and getting lost in memories that aren't that significant. And making plans for overly grand projects like operating systems or programming languages that I have no hope of finishing.

The worst one is just... talking to myself while I'm high and convincing myself that it's somehow more than that. It sounds like you experience something similar?

>What's a word or name you've been thinking about recently
This is kind of arbitrary but I've been thinking about the name Rachel. It's not my name, and it's not a name I've ever gone by. It feels weird to think about it because I used to know someone with that name. But the person I'm thinking of isn't her and doesn't have anything to do with her.

>What generation are you a part of
Zoomer I guess, but I was born in '97 and most of my peers in school have tended to be older. When people contrast what zoomers and millenials are like it just seems like really arbitrary distinctions to me.
