>>43243059i didn't think i had bottom dysphoria until i started hrt. i had disassociated so much that i hadn't allowed myself to even think of the possibility of being happy, let alone correct genitalia. now im a few months in and dealing with a similar problem to yourself. if you disassociated a lot before hrt, i think its possible you just didn't notice bottom dysphoria

>>43244121hope recovery is smooth. and yeah, for me it was less alleviation of dysphoria and more that i stopped walling that part of me off. i was working until stress caused me physical deterioration at my work to not think about dysphoria, alongside heavy usage of substances bc iwnbamand now im healthier and mostly sober bc of hrt, taking work life balance seriously. which means i have more time to think "oh god, my body is kinda fucked up" wish i had stopped repping sooner so i had more money for surgery, but thats life
