i use this place for like an hour or two a day and i dont feel guilty or resentful abt it. am i supposed to feel like this is bad?

>>43244320the real reason normies hate this place is because deep down they know that what is said here has some truth in it. they see a pic of a hon, they read comments that are extremely mean, and then they realize that there's some visceral subconscious part of themselves that agrees with the comment. if they are trans, they want to believe that the world will be kind to them even if they dont pass; if they are cis, they like to believe that they are kind to trannies. moreso there is this notion in contemporary society that success has little to do with one's looks, attractiveness, and class, meanwhile everyone here knows that if you want people to love you, you need to be pretty. i think at some point during our transitions, we honmoded and were treated like trash. for normies, it is a very terrifying thought that what they consider fundamental human dignity is in fact contingent on their looks.i am not saying that everything here is true -- far from it, much of it is wrong, in an objective sense. but every comment written here is someone's thought; it is a reflection of the real world, where people do actually think these things but are too polite to say it, or too dissonant to acknowledge the thought. in a world where everyone around you is constantly pretending like they aren't disgusted by you, this place is refreshingly honest.
