I know someone who is extremely transphobic to the point of obsession. He is easily the most anti-trans person I've ever meet, in real life or online. Yet he always presents himself as a girl on the internet and in video games and he has told me that he would be a girl if he could be (but that he "accepts biological reality, unlike trannies") and that, when he was a little kid, he played with girl toys, watched girl shows, and told his parents that he wanted to be a girl. Again, this is someone who constantly talks about how all trannies are a sickness on society who need to kill themselves and who regularly harasses trannies online (but he isn't even remotely a chud and has progressive views on almost everything else).What do you even call someone like this?
