When I was a kid there was an outwardly flamboyant gay when it became legal (2015-ish) who kept trying to engage/flirt after I repeatedly told them no. After inappropriately violating my personal space (ala humping trying to take clothing off etc) multiple times I told them I would fight them if they did it again. I've since come to realize their are bad actors in every group under the sun. I think we can all agree, no matter the perpetrator, sexual assault and harassment is a serious problem. My personal experiences shape who I am as a person. I carry a lot of respect and empathy for the other sex because of what I went through. I also figured out I was cis in part due to the way I was sexually harassed. You can always take good from a bad situation.
