>growing up whenever homosexuality was brought up the question of “do you think being gay is a choice? if yes, when did you choose to he straight?” Yet I never hear people ask “do you think being transgender is a choice? if yes, when did you choose to be cisgendered?”. why is this not used at all? i think most people have come around to being gay not a choice do why not this.
>>
homosexuality is genetic, all gay people are born that way, and nothing in the womb or later ever turns a non-gay human into a gay one

transgenderism is a choice to put on a costume to escape persecution and enforce the gendered status quo/binary

the rebuttal to this is "nuh uh" then the counter rebuttal is "yuh huh" then repeat then gincel goes into a coma please go into a coma go into a coma shut the fuck up go into the coma
>>
I didn't choose to be a tranny any more than someone else chose to be a faggot. I was a tranny before I transitioned as well just like a fag is a fag before they come out.
>>
>>43279241
because half the people on this board don't even have dysphoria, it's right to question transgenderism as a result. i do think a few people genuinely MUST transition but the rest are feeding into a fetish or have unresolved trauma.

Medical intervention is a choice.
>>
>>43279241
I think most people are upset over the choice of acting on it. Both with gay and trans
>>
>>43279241
>do you think being transgender is a choice?
because wearing a dress and doing makeup is a choice.
>>
>>43279937
>because half the people on this board don't even have dysphoria
bullshit

>homosexuality is genetic, all gay people are born that way, and nothing in the womb or later ever turns a non-gay human into a gay one
False. A gay gene was never found.
This also fails to explain why the percentage of the population that is gay has increased over time.
>muh left handedness
This proves my point. Society forced lefties to become righties. It therefore follows by analogy that conversion therapy works.

Yes, and if I come to realize I have cancer I'm going to medically intervene so I can live. And?
>>
idk about half but a good subset of trans people are "faketrans" in that theyre either just normal fags and got confused or clearly have some ulterior sexual motivation for things

so happy theres not many "wah wah wah you no need dysphoria to be trans!!! wahh wahhh wahh!" on this board
>>
>>43280500
Neither of those make someone trans. Trans women choose to do those things because women in general choose to.

Sex dysphoria doesn't come off when the night is over. Even with cucumber mineral water, trust me I've tried.
>>
>>43284556
"faketrans" doesn't exist.
Bodily autonomy is awesome. Life is short.

fucking a man is too, you could be a faggot and choose not to date, marry or have sex with one
