seriously wtf is this witchcraft
>>
how her jaw moved forward is was i'm wondering
>>
>>43288179
this is mostly a change in the nose. this method didn't change the underlying bone very much. she actually doesn't have that much midface, it's just that what she does have swelled outward due to the nose
>>
>>43288179
I wish I were white sigh
Imagine paying the same price for ffs just to end up a hideous brownoid
>>
>>43288190
It looks like her maxilla was moved back like an entire centimeter or something
>>
>>43288179
lip lift and t osteotomy
>>
>>43288207
the nose getting smaller means there's less mass pulling the philtrum skin towards the tip of the nose, which makes the bone under that seem smaller even though its the same size. same story for the sinus cavity. you assume it is an average size, so the place you assume the bone under it is at is based on what you actually see
also, she doesn't have the same head angle in these two photos. she's looking further up in the second one. most of the direct surgical changes in this are a restructuring of the bones around the sinuses
maxilla countouring does exist, though. brow and nose is usually more than enough for mos tgirls though. the larynx doesn't even look masculine in the second picture suddenly. she's pretty cute now
>>
>>43288258
It still can't be quite that simple, can it?

Meanwhile I ended up with a fucking shovel-shaped face at 15 due to rapidly expanding facial planes.
>>
>>43288292
if you were to do bone modeling of the actual facial planes, the maxilla would not have been changed. this is a rhinoplasty, type three brow, and possibly a chin revision. changing one thing on a face implicitly changes the way you see all the other parts of a face. just like how when you hear a passoid voice you begin explaining away clocky features as things cis women can have
>>
>>43288309
The overall distance between her eyes and mouth seemed to change but unfortunately there's no unit of reference to actually measure it out.
>>
>>43288321
mouth is soft tissue not bone

by changing the focal length on which the picture was taken
>>
>>43288441
you might be a retard
>>
>>43288207

one of the things you can do to change that is to wear braces, it really stops over time you having the mouthbreather face
>>
>>43288462

Im not, look at the background lighting shape
its yet another case of trans girls getting one shotted by photography tricks
>>
>>43288441
Focal length doesn't affect side profiles like this

>>43288488
It definitely can but I know more drastic results require more invasive work.
>>
>>43288179
Huh been a while since anyone was making threads about facial plains and mid face yadda yadda I thought clavicular made it clear that’s all incel Shit
>>
>>43288511
It's more about what can or cannot be addressed with surgery and how that impacts dysphoria.

I don't care about looksmaxxing. I just want to not suffer from this fucking brain disease that has made me want to bash my skull open on a granite countertop for completely inexplicable reasons since I was 15.
>>
>>43288179
by lip lift sweet heart
>>
I have a 1.28 midface ratio so thankfully I won't have to engage in any of these hontivities.
>>
>>43288593
do you look like an alien like anya taylor joy
>>
>>43288593
I'm pretty sure my own major issue is not midface but having a head that's too wide like I'm Charlie Kirk.
>>
>>43288602
Honestly yeah, my fwhr is 1.66, and my eyes are big, I have gay autistic alien phenotype.
>>
>>43288179
long midface was mostly cuz of philtrum. lip lift + sliding genioplasty fixed it. the after still has a slightly large midface but it obviously isn't as noticeable. also nice hopefuel for whatever phenotype is the left cuz i see a lot of tranners like that.
>>
>>43288608
Yeah that's fwhr. High fwhr is pretty masc.
>>
sorry who cares about fwhr in this context, my IPD is 72mm
>>
>>43288724
rip

I feel like I needed HRT at 12 just to have a chance.

>>

This is true
>>
>>43288188
It's called LeFort I advancement surgery
>>
>>43290766
is there point in advancing the jaw? it would just make the whole head bigger
>>
>>43288441
under 50 is what people normally see with their own eyes.
>>
>>43288817
that's really huge if you're white
>>
>>43291486
It's hard to measure it but mine seems to be like 70mm and I have a FWHR of like, 1.7 ish? Tried taking and cropping several photos and got anywhere between 1.65 and 1.75.

fmslsl
>>
>>43291689
naw measure that shit irl, photos can have lens distortion. But if you got 1.7 that's actually fine for wimminz.

Unfortunately don't have calipers and struggling to get an accurate ruler measurement.

Focal length doesn't affect this in the slightest you tapwater chugger. It is exclusively affected by distance to subject, nothing else. The only thing focal length changes is how close you would need to stand to get the same framing. Same distance, different focal lengths = same face, different crop.
>>
>>43293180
Bought a set of calipers.

1.72 FWHR

Also apparently my bideltoid and biacromial are smaller than previously measured??? 17.5 inch bideltoid and like 14" biacromial? Feel like I fucked those measurements up and will grab assistance to help with those later.
>>
>>43294814
Okay definitely not these wtf. Got assistance with bideltoid at least and got 18.2" bideltoid which makes a lot more sense.
>>
>>43294538
At a close distance it absolute impacts the perception of depth. Picking a long distance landscape shot where you can't see much detail which is close together is an example which is utterly irrelevant to a close up portrait.
>>
>>43288593
>1.28 midface ratio
What does this mean?
>>
>>43294897
I did some more measurements.

I have a 99th percentile chest breadth for both male and female people of my height and BMI. This is bullshit. One of my most hated features and there's literally no way to change it to any significant degree.
>>
>>43288511
Firstly, what are you even trying to say, and secondly, talk about looks, looksmaxxing, etc, have largely been overlapped with incel memes for a long time, on here at least for 8 years and probably longer, and outside of 4chan probably well over 10. I don't understand half of peoples use of that fucking word though, it makes no fucking sense and when used in a derogatory manner, it's used like it's some kind of spiritual attack.
>>
>>43288511
bitterhon right on schedule, come on sweety let's get your measurements so that you can share with the class what a big ma- I mean woman you are.
>>
>>43288179
Is there a way to change that without surgery? I've heard mewing can affect the midface. I know that sounds a bit woo woo but it does affect some elements of the face so I don't know.
>>
>>43291447

35mm to be more precise is considered equivalent to the human vision. cellphone cameras are like 10-16mm ish equivalent.

>>43294538

look up lens barrel distortion, yes you would move with your feet to focus the subject, but the edges always distort in relation to the center because of the lens curvature that makes the focal length
>>
>>43299111
>look up lens barrel distortion, yes you would move with your feet to focus the subject, but the edges always distort in relation to the center because of the lens curvature that makes the focal length

No, retard. Barrel distortion is dependant on the specific lens. It is not a product of focal length. There are plenty of ultra-wide angle lens that have no or almost no barrel distortion, like Laowa Zero-D's and plenty of vintage 35mm lenses that have significant barrel distortion.

>>43295204
>At a close distance it absolute impacts the perception of depth. Picking a long distance landscape shot where you can't see much detail which is close together is an example which is utterly irrelevant to a close up portrait.

Holy shit you must be trolling there's no way anyone can be this dumb. This distance from the subject affects the distortion. It changes what is and isn't visible on a face. For example if you get right up in someone's face, super close to their nose, their ears may become completely hidden behind their cheeks. If you stand 10m away, you will be able to see their ears. This is the distortion you are thinking of, it has nothing to do with focal length.
>>
>>43288179
who's work was this? i have my ffs in a couple months and this is absolute hopefuel since i have the same before nose
>>
>>43299111
>cellphone cameras are like 10-16mm ish equivalent
The pro iphones have a 12mm full frame equivalent at the absolute widest, but this is not the main camera and its not what most people use for taking photos of people. Many older or cheaper phones do not even go this wide. The main camera is a 24mm but it doesn't matter because the focal length still has nothing to do with the kind of distortion you're talking about and if you were going to take a normal photo of a person you'd probably use the 50mm full frame equivalent option. It would be dishonest to suggest that a 10-16mm focal length is representative of what your phone shoots when taking a selfie or taking a photo of someone else.
