i feel like i can clock trans guys at the same rate as trans women but for some reason cis people struggle wayyy more with clocking trans guys. why is this the case? is it cus once their voice drops people default to assuming male?
it's because trans men aren't in the collective conscious to the same extent as trans women, normies would know if they ever thought about them

I would get misgendered pretty often so maybe I wasn't passing exactly. But once people figured out their mistake they'd apologize instead of frothing at the mouth so who knows?I do think a big part of it is the specter has always been trans women. Until very recently nobody really thought of trans men at all.
