He was abusing his benzos and taking hydromorphone. They also put him on GLP 1 because his blood sugars were a bit high because he ate boxes of honey buns every day. So then his blood sugar started going low and now he overeats, but he can't shit properly because he's old and because he's on a very high dose of xanax every day, hydromorphone, and GLP1, all of which slow gastric emptying. He nearly had an ileus. I got them to take him off the hydromorphone. He was back on lower grade opioids for a while. He tells his GP that he itches a lot, GP correctly identifies it as a symptom of opioid use. He gives this nigga a fent patch prescription. My granddad is maga. Actual insane country.
