I just did my first injection of estradiol valerate and I think I had a seizure. What do
>>43317212umm sounds like a medical situation so you should go to a medical center if you can
Talk to a doctor who actually knows about this stuff. Not like a regular doctor but one that actually knows about hrt because they will just say it's the hormones no matter what desu
>>43317212ai says this:This is a serious medical situation that requires immediate attention. If you (or the person you are referring to) believe a seizure has occurred following an injection, you should seek emergency medical care immediately.Immediate ActionsCall Emergency Services: Dial 911 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest Emergency Room.Do Not Drive: If a seizure has occurred, it is unsafe to operate a vehicle.Stay in a Safe Space: Sit or lie down on the floor in a cleared area to prevent injury if another seizure occurs.Information for First RespondersWhen you speak to medical professionals, be prepared to tell them:The Medication: Estradiol Valerate. The Dosage: How much was injected. The Site: Where the injection was administered (e.g., thigh, glute).Duration: How long the seizure lasted and exactly what happened (convulsions, loss of consciousness, staring into space). Please put down the phone and contact emergency services now.
When it's a one time thing your body assumes it ate like a weird chunk of organ meat full of hormones and freaks out(something that happened in nature once in a while) . It takes a few days to a week for that to settle out and your body to be gaslit into thinking it's actually a woman and is overdue for puberty to begin starting. Thankfully the human body is overall very dumb, it can't tell the difference between high E and high T so pumping yourself full of E eventually just makes the body conclude it no longer needs to make T and the high E tells the cells they obviously should be female so they feminize and the next generation of cells is female coded. It doesn't check against chromosomal sex at all, a week on estrogen and your biology is fully convinced it's a woman. (There are bird species with more complex hormone systems that notably do reject the wrong sex hormone and will attempt to fight back, thank fuck our bodies don't work like that or transitioning would be slower, harder, and always require blockers pretty much forever)

Why This is UrgentWhile I am an AI and not a doctor, a seizure following a medication injection is not a normal side effect. It could indicate several critical issues that need a professional diagnosis:Anaphylaxis: A severe allergic reaction can sometimes cause neurological symptoms or fainting that may be mistaken for a seizure.Accidental Intravenous Injection: If a medication meant for muscle or fat (intramuscular or subcutaneous) enters a vein directly, it can cause immediate systemic toxicity.Oil Embolism: Since estradiol valerate is suspended in oil, an accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause a "coughing fit" or neurological distress.Vasovagal Response: While some people faint due to needle phobia (syncope), a true seizure is a distinct neurological event that must be evaluated.>>43317241
>>43317212Immediately after or days after? If days after, go to a doctor ASAP, there could be several reasons this could have happened. Good luck.
You sure it wasn't vasovagal syncope or something

>>43317350Sry I was feeling sick had to sit on the toilet for a lil bit>>43317277Immediately after>>43317334I have fainted after having my blood drawn before and this was not like that. I was definitely on the ground convulsing and disoriented for a minute, and it was definitely directly related to doing my first ever injection. I did read that EV could be a "convulsant"When it was over I was dizzy and pale green. I got some air and drank some water and used the toilet. I feel a lot more normal now, color is returning to my face and I'm not dizzy. Think I'm gonna just hang out and see how I feel, get something to eat. If it happens again on my 2nd injection I'll contact my endoI probably should not have also taken an edible today, but so it goes. Thank you for checking on me nonas
>>43317558Nobody here is a doctor so we cannot say whether or not you had a seizure, but estrogen is not going to cause a seizure by being present in your body, and your description does not match an acute allergic reaction. You injected into a vein. You should aspirate. A lot of people say you shouldn't, or that it's unnecessary, but it helps to avoid this exact scenario. When injecting, pull back on the plunger. If you get blood, pull out, do your routine all over again. If you get small air bubbles, it's alright. You don't have to pull back very far, no more than maybe .02 ml.Since you think you had a seizure, you should see a doctor regardless. Usually people will faint or have a coughing fit (Pulmonary embolism), but this is quite extreme. I cannot give anymore advice, but I think you should see a doctor just in case.
>>43317636Thank you for your help
Estrogen is known for causing seizures and you trannies inject it en masse, lol.
>>43317558Well if you were on the ground genuinely convulsing, I advise you to see an actual professional. I had a vasovagal reaction during my last shot and if it were to be the same thing that you just experienced then I'd just move on.I did my shot and a few minutes later I got tunnel vision, loud ringing, a bit of shaking, felt horrid and ack all that shit, fainted and when that was over, I was too dizzy and pale. Take that as you will
>>43317241Ai only says that for liability reasons. Just call your doctor and tell them OP, you’ll probably be fine. Most seizures are of unknown cause anyway.

>>43317830Ah thank you for elaborating. I think I'm gonna be ok, maybe it was the same as you had. I have become nauseous just trying to put my navel piercing back in so I shouldn't be too surprised something like this might happen.>>43317811That is true and a good point, I do have epileptic female relativesIf anything changes I'll be sure to try the blinding stew
