MTFs would you rather have your hips be widened around the iliac crest area (red measurement) or would you rather have them be widened around the femur (green measurement), if both then which one would you want to be wider or would you want them to be the same size.I'm trying to settle an argument between people who are saying that red measurement doesnt really matter if you have a wide green measurement and I just think that would look extremely uncanny and unnatural

>>43332380I already have wide iliac crests and they're located higher because male puberty. I actually want them shaved down so they're not as high up. Having wide/high iliac crests but not a wide lower pelvis produces nasty hip dips. Wide lower pelvis is important for Q angle and stuff too.

I'm good on my iliac crest, but you're right in saying most mtf's want it wider. most i've seen have it about as wide as their chest breadth, but if you see that image, you definitely want it wider than that. I'd still want my trochanter to be a lot wider than my iliac crest, because them being the same size is how most males have it.
I would rather have increased upper iliac crest. the lower is just some weird moid thing like picrel. upper is all that matters for showing youre female.
Wider femurs would be more important for me
Both in proportion to eachother, it just looks uncanny otherwise

I have way wider Greater Trochanters(the green line) and have the worst hip dips I've ever seen, so wider around red seem like a plausible fix
