I like animegao kigu cosplays, I think it'd be cool to try at some point. Not as a gender thing, just because it looks good to me. Expensive though...

I don't think kigu is that uncanny valley imo, the anime masks don't try to be realistic therefore it avoids the whole uncanny valley thing

idk, I transitioned full time ages ago now, but I still get the urge to do kig as a fun hobby

Why? I don't think it has to be a gender thing to want to crossplay, and once you're sufficiently masculinized you can't really do a female character justice anymore and kigu solves that pretty effectively. And you can keep your identity more secret. Otherwise your only option is le funny hairy MANdoka #367247383975837312 or similar man-in-a-dress cosplays which while I think it's funny it's kinda overdone and it'd be sad to only have that option.

I feel the same, but some people don't agree. Reminds me of that photo of a baby crying at a Miku mask that sometimes gets posted.
