Over my long time on this board I've seen plenty of people indicate that they're aspiring to be more fembrained (which is what I took this thread as since you're asking for a stacy FFXIV job) and well, as I already alluded too, I feel like this is a completely hopeless venture for everyone on this board, 1. because plenty of trannies here are autistic and thus outside the traditional social hierarchy where things like "fembrained and malebrained" even make sense, and 2. because, well, how can someone with a male childhood become fembrained later on in life? Have you seen how little girls are raised compared to boys? Just look at a girls magazine or girls toys, the difference is astounding, this isn't including things like a female adolescence either. Really I think more trannies should just aspire to be themselves and do what feels right, which ime usually ends up being a personal blend of fembrained and malebrained tastes, escaping one set of gendered norms just to bind yourself to another seems like some weird form of submission to deeply consumerist and cruel society. HRT later in life will literally alter their brains and push them further towards female than male. Of course socialization has 'an' impact, but I think it is largely a biological question, based on hormone exposure. HRT changing trans brains to be closer to lived gender identity supports this. Socialization will teach you to do X and behave in a way Y and think Z, but your brain can still be fundamentally different. A cis woman can be socialized as a boy and it won’t make her one. Trans women can be socialized male and they don’t come out as cis men. You can’t reduce it down to socialization. I get the impression that you grieve not having had that experience of a female socialization and your self hatred makes you project it onto other ideas again.
