Interesting. Why do you like them?
>>
>>43363857
John Rawls' philosophy is most conducive to the kind of society that fits my moral values, and Nader provided the best blueprint I've seen so far for uniting the progressive left and libertarian right.

Thanks ill check them out since im finally out of my edgy rebellious politcal phase. Alfredo Bonanno was fun to read in your teens but less so as an adult

Marx Engels Lenin Stalin Mao

Deleuze Hegel Spinoza Federici

Maybe Fisher Land Nietzsche Brassier Johnston May, a little McKenna and Watts. Philip K Dick desu. but for these not even remotely to the extent as the first 5, maybe some of Deleuzes influences like Aquinas Scotus Bergson, a little Stirner Baudrillard Foucault Debord Bookchin, but idk if these count as influence or just people I read who I think are wrong but gave me more perspective on what is correct.

Basically all other philosophy ended up being cope for not wanting to read scary stalin and mao or accept that the tankies and dialectical materialism were always right about everything and theres full continuity in ml thought from marx to mao. origin of the family and calaban with focault/deleuze and debeauvoir/wittig are also central to breaking through with a materialist understanding of trans. biggest one is reading deleuzes difference and repetition with engels dialectics of nature and lenins materialism and empirio criticism and conspectus on hegel and the popular mao stuff like on contradiction. deleuze goes through hegels dialectic before critiquing and expanding it but imo he explains better than anyone else and it made everything finally snap together. then when you read main stuff in new perspective like state and rev critique of gotha even the manifesto everything makes sense and ur like wow

Bronte is my favorite i would of put her if you didnt claim her already
>Hans Widmer
Made bolo'bolo which is like an anarchist work on utopia based off intentional tribal communities. Its more if a vibe then smart. Im nostalgic for it from when i was a little anarchist teen
>David abram
Wrote Becoming Animal. He does phenomenology about experiencing life as a unified complex system. It feels like he turns deleuze into poetry
>Anne conway
A platonist /vitalist from the 17th century that talks about how reality is a living substance. She influenced liebniz's monadilogy and reads similarly
>Simone weil
She tries to combine 1940s physics with religious mysticism. Her most famous work is called Gravity and Grace. Its basically like how systems live through humans
>Hadewijch of Antwerp
Medieval Beguine author who write about the divinity of love/yearning and how it transforma someone through its intensity. Shes got bronte vibes if youre okey with her dated style
>Margaret fuller
One of the first Transcendentalists who brought the idea of self reliance into the movment and mixes it with feminism

I like Nietzsche but if i'm being totally honest I only read him because of two different comic series that heavily referenced him, and both of them offered more nuanced takes on the philosophy that were more influential on me.

The comic series in question were:

Kill Six Billion Demons by Tom Bloom AKA Abbadon, and it combines aspects of Nietzsche, buddhism and hinduism (mainly self-actualization through action and rejection of divinity/deification), and

The Girls last tour/Shimeji Simulation saga by tkmiz, which focuses on "optimistic nihilism" and existentialism.

I also find that bits of locke and hobbes stick with me, though I wouldn't consider them massive influences per se
